we had a superb getaway, ideal for timeout and a recharge. everything was as described and the mattress was so comfortable. is now on our favourites lists to return back to.

Absolutely stunning setting in beautiful countryside, the cabin was extremely well equipped with a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. We had two wonderful evenings outside at the fire pit. It was beautifully cosy inside with the wood burning stove and it was also amazing to sit out on the veranda. The bed was very comfortable and our cockerpoo was very appreciative of his welcome pack and very much enjoyed his stay. Very much recommended for a thoroughly relaxing stay. Communication with Amber very quick and efficient.

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The location was wonderful, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, despite there being a pub next door! Lots of walks or cycles from the door, yet 2 minutes from a main road. The house was beautifully decorated and great bedrooms, lovely linen and comfy beds, with fantastic bathrooms. Everything you needed to cook for yourself and great recommendations of things to do and places to go. We had ponies outside our garden! Paul was a great host, responsive and helpful, really welcoming and very kind regarding checking in and out. We were there to celebrate a few things and felt it was absolutely the place for that. The pub next door under new owners was very friendly but did not disturb us at all. Thank you Paul, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hut. Unfortunately we had cloudy skies so didn’t get to stargaze. Loved our animal neighbours and the visits from the ducks. The BBQ and facilities were great we enjoyed cooking and eating al fresco all weekend. Walked to Winyard Gap for a pub lunch. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend.

The 2 ladies that greeted us upon check in were friendly and helpful. the campsite is clean, peaceful, tranquil. plenty of toilet/shower blocks which were clean, modern and accessible whenever my family needed. all guests very friendly. as for the shepherds hut, it was warmer then expected with plenty of room and storage under the main double bed. mattress very comfortable and 2 single beds which could fit up to 5ft 2 child on comfortably. if your on a budget i would recommend arranging food (there is 2 electric hob perfect for pasta) as a family of 4 we walked to nearest pub restaurant st peters finger, was nice but pricey and limited menu. highly reccommended for short stay (1/2 nights) with local links for things to do

We had such a wonderful time at Tracy’s shepherd’s hut. We felt so at home and certainly chilled throughout our stay. Our children loved stroking and feeding the goats. The shepherd’s hut had everything you could want or need, with the great addition of a hot tub and a fire to toasts marshmallows on. Tracy was so friendly and fantastic at responding to messages. She kindly arranged for a birthday banner and cupcakes to be prepared to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We loved our time and were very sad to come home!

A lovely place that’s great for being cozy and romantic. Hot tub and a BBQ are a must 😄

We stayed in the hut called collie. It was absolutely stunning and was so lovely to stay it. Surrounded by nature and animals. Lovely view, hot tub was amazing. The bed was very comfy and everything you needed inside. Thank you so much!

Had a wonderful stay. The shepherds hut had everything we needed for a peaceful retreat and yet was near the beach and some great market towns. The outside space was lovely especially the hot tub overlooking the lake. Would definitely recommend.

We spent 3 fabulous nights in Holly’s Shepherds Hut to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Hut is decorated very tastefully and modern and set in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved lighting the fire pit each evening after a delicious meal at The Old Mill Pub which is a couple of minutes walk away. The location is perfect for visiting the nearby beaches and towns. Holly was a brilliant Host and we can’t wait to return!

Great little hut on the edge of the heathland, that perfectly suited a chilled night with our youngest son, he absolutely loved the hut, collecting wood for the fire and the rope swing . Perfect nights sleep had by all.

A well kitted out spot super close to the sea and plenty of walking trails, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend highly!

The stay was exactly what we wanted. Private, off-grid accommodation in beautiful surroundings. We were left to our own devices although the hosts were very responsive, if needed. We didn’t need anything though as their welcome pack is so thorough and informative. Was lovely to arrive to a pre-warmed hot tub and a bottle of their cider. Sleeping with the windows open and waking up to the bird song was such a wonderful start to the day. It rained the whole time we were there so we’d love to return in sunnier weather so we can make use of the picnic benches outside of the shop and enjoy a few ciders! A fantastic spot to get away from the noise in a beautiful location with great hosts. Would 100% return.

A truly magical peaceful place to rest amongst beautiful scenery and use as a base to explore the New Forest. Jo was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful but left us to enjoy the stunning location and shepherds hut. The hut and outside space had everything we needed to have an incredible weekend outdoors in comfort. We hope to come back again! Emma and Frank :)

Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the world. Definitely pay for the hot tub, amazing to be outside looking at the stars at night.

Genuine shepherd hut that was very well converted. All the amenities. Hot tub with a view! Excellent communication with host. Absolutely nothing to complain about (and I like complaining 😊)

Really lovely stay in an idyllic location. The hut is beautifully decorated and really well kitted out with everything you need. You do need a car as the location is pretty rural but there is so much to do within a short drive - lots of lovely walks and pubs, and Shaftesbury also only a short drive. Would really recommend for a lovely getaway!

Lovely 2 nights. Small but very well equipped,we didn't want for anything. hot tub was pre heated (wood fired) ready for our arrival, which was most welcome. Fire pit & logs also provided. We very much enjoyed our stay & would recommend! As per other reviews, there is a train line with in frequent trains, we honestly didn't find this intrusive at all.

This was a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of the most beautiful grounds! We loved the shepherds hut so much. The entrance is magical down a long pebble driveway past the owners home that looks like something from house and home magazine. Probably one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen. Shirley made sure the hut was ready for when we arrived which happened to be earlier than expected. We were met with a lovely warm and informative welcome, Shirley showed us the grounds and the hut which were both stunning. The hut has everything you need, top quality products and linens. Shirley gave us so many recommendations for the local area and places to visit. We will certainly be staying again!

We stayed for my husbands 60th along with our dog Lola. Rosa had left a bottle of Prosecco along with a birthday card which was a lovely touch. The hut was equipped with all essentials and was immaculate. The bed was super comfy. Our dog was welcomed and loved to explore the area with Daisy their dog and without. They got on well. Very secure for your dog to roam. We had a great time thank you. Rosa and Mark were friendly and helpful. Great hosts
