The vacation home offers plenty of space and has been lovingly furnished. The spacious glass fronts provide light-flooded rooms and allow a beautiful view of the countryside. Due to the proximity to many attractions such as the summer toboggan run, devil's cave, climbing forests and wildlife parks, it is a nice place to stay for families, but also ideal for climbers, hikers and nature lovers. Nuremberg and Bayreuth can be reached in about 35 minutes by car, Bamberg in about 45 minutes.

We offer a nice vacation home in Franconian Switzerland. After our children moved out, we prepared the house, which is centrally located in a small town, for guests. Just a few meters away is a guest house (Wed + Thu closed) and a bakery in the neighboring village Thanks to the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, you can also cater for yourself well. The key handover takes place in person, which is why it would be nice if you could let us know your approximate time of arrival.

With attention to detail, we have completely renovated this house, which is over 100 years old. We reused as much of the old materials as possible or worked with natural materials, such as clay plaster, furniture made of wood in our own construction, the sink was hand-potted by me and mounted on an old sewing machine frame. There is only limited mobile reception in Tüchersfeld!

Living in a historic barn (Maxi)

You will be staying on a former farm with a listed, 400-year-old barn that we have lovingly renovated. You live on the first floor of the barn with a gable top. From there you have a wonderful view far into Franconian Switzerland. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, each with large double beds. The building complex has its own entrance with steep stairs.
