The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even a lot longer. Even though the cabin lies by itself practically on a pile, lay it on a farmer's yard, cows sheep and lambs in the vicinity. The cabin has character, is more than 100 years old and has between anna a large, printed Viking ship model hanging on the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and new kitchen with all necessary equipment.

Bathroom with shower and toilet inside the guesthouse. Underfloor heating in bathrooms. Wall-mounted panel oven in main room. Above the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is wonderful to sit to take in the surroundings and feel the calm. There are also great hiking trails close by.
