Family-friendly holiday rentals in Praia da Vagueira

The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

The apartment is fantastic and very comfortable. I had to stay in Aveiro for a month for work and the truth is that the apartment was exactly what I needed. Isabel as a host has been impeccable, very good service, and very helpful when I have had a problem.

This apartment was a great choice to spend some days in Figueira de Foz. It was spacious (even more than what it look in the pictures) and clean. It was close to beach promenade, supermarkets and restaurants, specially a very good "pastelaria", which is a must in Portugal. Andrea was very nice and prompt in providing help and I can only recommend her as a host.

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Thank you Marta for your warm hospitality and attention to detail.

We had a great time with the family at Joao's home. Joao is a very friendly and attentive host. We all really enjoyed the lush garden with its lemon trees and orange trees, while being flowered in every nook and cranny. We all felt a real disconnection when staying at Joao's place. The bedding is excellent and the house has a soul with its decoration and childhood smells. A beautiful beach is 8 min from the house by car and all amenities are 5 mins away. Finally, as you can see, a family stay that we will have a great memory of.

David was very welcoming and helpful! Very clean place that has everything you need. It was super comfortable and we had a lot of space.

the accommodation is very well furnished, everything is well thought out, Netflix, bread in the morning, kitchen essentials, and jacuzzi very appreciated after a day of hiking. Beautiful pool with deckchairs to relax. i would go back again

Beautiful large gardens, huge house ideal for large groups. Lovely kitchen and dining areas. Rooms are large and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the main Fig area. Unfortunately there were 2 things not disclosed in the listing: Host lives on the property with his family and dog. Although they were on one side of the house, it was unexpected.

Maybe not for everyone but us we experienced the house and surroundings as a little paradise. The house has character and the whole lot around it is beautiful. It is quiet and has lots of space. The pool is real pool, and not an enlarged sort of bath tub. A beautiful view is included. The house is well equipped, everything worked well. The shoreline is a 40+ minute drive and worthwhile visiting. One can walk kilometers on the wooden board walk or bike along. Even to Porto along the shore which is really not far away. It passes Afurada………… you may want to plan a stop there for excellent sea food at a very reasonable price Hiking trails are in the area. Do some smart shopping for groceries and the like at a supermarket, we did not find anything close by. Maybe a minus for some, if you like to go out and enjoy night life nearby, that is a no-go.

The house is nice, very spacious and clean. We spent 3 days as a family with our pet and we didn't miss anything. Inés' recommendations were very accurate and the place is quiet and easy to visit. The weather was quite pleasant during our stay and helped us sleep at night. Without a doubt, the description of the house and the site is 100% reliable and of course, I recommend it for sure.

It was a good few days ago. Time helped. The kids loved the pool and the space. And adults too. :)

Carla was very kind. We asked if he could supply us three more fluffy pillows and he did it the same day, without bothering us for anything and without putting any objection. We could not enjoy the pool because of the weather but the place is idyllic for the summer season. Thank you very much Carla

Very clean and tidy house, fragrant With plenty of fresh air, with good space, I recommend it for total rest. It could have a pool in the house, it was ideal for a summer vacation

Family of 9 we spent 3 days at the property. Paddleboard, Visited Barra, Costa Nova fish market, Aveiro and long beach walks. would recommend.

If I had to find a downside to this place, it would be the mosquitoes. The rest was all great. The host was super friendly, attentive and recommended many places. The house, in addition to being beautiful and very clean, was also full of things at our disposal. We have been to many accommodations and several different countries, and we have never seen anything as complete and welcoming as this place. I recommend it 100%, the price is a bit expensive but when we arrived I understood that it was totally worth it. our little dog also liked it a lot :)

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the moment of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised me with its positive details, thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

Everything was perfect even the small details. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The inside and outside of the property were really well maintained and the swimming pool was an added bonus in a hot sun weather’sday! Thank you Joao for your hospitality and for being so helpful and friendly. We hope to visit again next year and definitely recommend 100%

Really good space, specially if you’re looking for a calming space with the beach close by and somewhere to relax with family or friends.

We had a great stay with our 2 children aged 7 and 10. Luís’s place was very clean, pool and outside space even better than the photos. Location is great as it’s the last plot so not overlooked and lots of greenery around. New bikes were a nice touch as well - kids enjoyed cycling to the supermarket to get food. We spent a day by the pool, drove to the beach to surf and spent an afternoon / evening in Aveiro which was lovely. Luís was responsive and a great host.

It is more spacious than expected, clean and fully equipped with all amenities. Thank you for the quick and friendly explanation and guidance from the host, especially for your thoughtful consideration, such as operating the heating fixture before check-in. I definitely want to come back with my family if I get a chance.
