The studio apartment is located in the heart of leafy Graefekiez in Kreuzberg, one of Berlin’s most popular & beautiful neighbourhoods with its many preserved historic buildings. The flat itself has a big balcony and views into the quiet and green courtyard. The apartment is fully furnished and offers full access to fresh bed sheets & lines, towels, wifi, and basic cleaning and washing materials. There is a washing machine and dryer in the building. The bed is a good sized double bed (160 width) and the apartment has a little bit of storage space for your clothing. Kitchen and bathroom are newly refurbished with beautiful marble tiles. The kitchen is equipped with a mini hob, microwave, fridge and a dishwasher as well as a nice working/ eating space looking out onto the balcony. As soon as you step out of the building you have got everything you need on your doorstep. Other amenities - Hairdryer - WiFi - First aid kit - Smoke detectors - Fire extinguisher - Balcony with table and chairs - Washing machine & dryer on request, service for a wash & dry available for 10 EUR - Iron and iron-table on request It's completely your apartment whilst you're staying here, all I am asking for is that you are respectful of the neighbours as well as the apartment and that you don't smoke or have parties. I live in the same building so am usually around to help with recommendations/ suggestions/ general info. I will arrange meeting with you upon arrival to hand over the keys and to give you a run through everything in the flat. The studio apartment is located in the heart of Kreuzberg, Berlin's most multicultural neighborhood. Everything you need is on your doorstep. Great restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and galleries. The underground is a 2 min walk and there is a beautiful park & canal (Hasenheide & Maybachufer) for walks/ jogging next door. The colourful Turkish Market is around the corner and the many vintage and local artisan shops in the beautiful old buildings make this neighborhood a pleasure to stroll through. The apartment is located directly on the underground line U8 (station "Schönleinstrasse") which crosses the center of the city from North to South and hits many tourist spots. The underground station "Schönleinstrasse" is a 2 min walk away. The U7 and U1 underground lines are also nearby and a 5min walk away (station "Hermannplatz" or "Kottbuser Tor") - here you can travel from East to West. The U1 is Berlin's party line as it hits many drinking and clubbing spots. --> to Alexanderplatz/Mitte 8min --> to Berlin Central Station 20min --> to City West/ Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten 20 min --> to Friedrichstrasse/ Brandenburg Gate 15 min --> to Mauerpark 20 min --> to Berlin Tegel Airport 40min --> to Berlin Schönefeld Airport 36min Berlin is also an extremely mobile city when it comes to car/ bike/ moped shares which you can rent for short trips on every corner of the neighbourhood easily with your mobile app. Contact me for information on this if you need. Parking in the area is free but usually requires a bit of searching for a parking spot. Since the 1st of January 2014 all private Berlin visitors have to pay the so called City Tax. This 5% tax has to be paid on top of the price you pay on Airbnb and will be collected during your check in. This legislation affects all guests staying in hotels or private accommodation, except for guests staying longer than 21 days, or business travellers who have proof that they are in Berlin professionally. For more information please refer to the federal state of Berlin website. I speak German, English, Polish, Spanish. Our guest room is particularly suitable for exploring Potsdam (and also Berlin) by bike, train, car or on foot. Both the Filmpark Babelsberg and the district of the same name are interesting excursion destinations. The S-Bahn train, which is about 15 minutes' walk away, takes you to Berlin in 25 minutes or Potsdam city centre in 10 minutes. You can drive to the motorway within 5 minutes, but neither they nor the train can be heard at night.

The apartment is very central, between Potsdamer Platz and Bergmannkiez. The Park am Gleisdreieck is located "around the corner", Brandenburger Tor is 2.5 km away. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Very good underground and S-Bahn connection
