Beach house holiday rentals in Porthmadog

We had to book property at last minute. Response was quick with a message to say “give us an hour to check everything ok and get some provisions in”. We arrived very late. Easy to find (great directions!) and house was perfect. The views were spectacular the next morning and so peaceful. Thank you Sheila, Chinnaswamy and Hayley.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Diane’s place. The views were stunning and it was very peaceful. We were lucky with the weather during our stay, so made the most of the balcony. The house was spotlessly clean, was furnished nicely and the bathroom was gorgeous. This house is a perfect location for seeing other places in North Wales! We hope to visit again one day!

Had a wonderful stay at The Cherries. It felt very homely, comfortable and welcoming. The bungalow was light and pleasant with a small enclosed garden that our dog fully enjoyed. There is a raised decking area with furniture and 2 sunbeds lower in the garden. With it being a dormer bungalow, everything was on one level and easily accessible which was ideal as holidaying with elderly parents. The upper bedroom and en-suite was beautiful and offered privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We had all of the facilities that we needed and the location was perfect for exploring up and down the coast. Information leaflets were very useful and the shower was great! The welcome pack was very good and we could have a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. The use of upcycled furniture also made the cottage unique and very welcoming. The village had a very good charity shop / café and also had a good Chinese takeaway and some decent pubs. The cottage is also close to Talacre beach, Prestatyn and Flint / Holywell so there is always somewhere to visit. Thank you Chris for a lovely holiday rental! Dave, Chris, Elsie and Ruby

our stay at Claire's lovely home was amazing, prestine clean house with everything you need. The only thing missing was an unbrella. easy 5 mins walk to the beach, great for dog walks and kids a like. set on a private road the house was in a quiet location with mountain backdrop beach and bay views. Claire's communication was very responsive and timely, and easy to follow instructions. Claire was very helpful and answered all our questions. well fitted kitchen area clean and tidy. plenty of areas for storage. the house also had the added value of a downstairs toilet. living area was clean and spacious with comfy sofas. could not fault it at all. truly a great find and would definitely recommend. only negative issue is the rear of the property road noise although as it is constant it doesn't really disturb.

An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

This property is extremely central and a stone’s throw away from the arcade and pier. Fantastic location and a lovely, large clean space. The kitchen area is great and the whole house was clean and well equipped. Jay was an excellent host - going above and beyond to make our stay great. There is no parking directly beside the house but we found parking on the streets nearby without any problems. Once there we didn’t need the cars as everything was so close.

What a beautiful holiday home, in a fantastic location. Can’t recommend highly enough!

When we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the cleanliness of the site and lodge. We loved the extra touch of a doggy bed and treats. The garden was really secure which made us feel relaxed in the knowledge our 3 year old Beagle would be safe and not escape, as well as the children. The lodge was perfectly placed for our eldest who adored the freedom of having a beach at the bottom of the garden, fishing when the tide was in and exploring the treasures that had been left when the tide went out. The lodge was beautifully presented, clean and had lots of storage for our family along with everything we needed making it feel like home from home. The site was also really maintained and we loved how friendly the staff were (Hayley Jones in particular). The changing rooms, toilets and pool were extremely clean which really helped me to relax due to my OCD. The park was quiet but those who were staying were very friendly. We will defiantly be returning.

Immaculate Lodge and very well equipped. Location was perfect, walking distance to all amenities. Mark & Tracy very helpful and told us there was no rush on checkout, which gave us an easy relaxed morning.

We stayed here over February half term as a family get away of 12 people. The house was warm, cozy and inviting. It was like being at home. The upstairs lounge with views over the sea was a real show stopper! 10-15 minute walk to the beach and stunning views all around. Hosts were great with sorting a heating issue before we even arrived, great communication. Would highly recommend, and will be revisiting in warmer months to enjoy the pool.

We had a lovely stay! The host was fantastic – very accommodating with our request for an early check-in. The caravan was cosy, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome basket, complete with wine, biscuits, and even treats for our dog. A really nice touch! We’d happily stay here again.

First time staying in a cottage always stayed in a caravan at the same location for 10 years. The cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped, the shower was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our week here and will definitely return.

Ellie is the most fantastic host. She was so responsive and friendly if we had any queries. She sent a list of recommendations for places to eat that was all incredible… the potted lobster is not to be missed. The house is unbelievable. The pictures don’t do it justice to how beautiful it is. The view is breathtaking taking. We opened the window in the morning to listen to the waves lapping. You couldn’t get a better location. Inside the house is stunning and kept fresh and clean. It’s really big so plenty of room for big families. There’s a fire for our unpredictable weather, that made cosy nights in so lovely. The out door space is perfect for sunny days and evenings. The beds are lovely and comfortable. I honestly don’t think you could have anything but a superb time at Ellie’s air b&b. I would highly recommend and will definitely be having another holiday here again in the future.

Stayed here for 5 days and had an amazing time! Beach is so close and the house was amazing! Lovely touches and very easy to check in. The only downfall was the beds were quite uncomfortable and the roads difficult to drive on if you are an inexperienced driver! However, with that said would definitely stay again!

Our stay was wonderful, the home gave us great opportunity to spend quality time with family. Rachel was so helpful and very responsive, everything you could need was included, with a fully kitted kitchen and everything had been h thought of including blankets for all the guests. The view was amazing, and it had great outdoor seating.

Wow what an incredible stay. 6 of us spent 3 nights here for my mother in laws 70th family get together. We wanted a place in Anglesey with three bathrooms and in nature. This ticked all the boxes, but what really stood out for us was the property had everything we could have needed to feel at home right away. The view through the living room windows is phenomenal. We barely had the TV on because we were looking outside. The nearby walks in nature are amazing and the pit stop in the Crown pub and jaspels cider place all within walking distance was an added bonus. Plus being so close to Rhosneigr was great. We didn’t have a great deal of sun when we were there so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor space fully. But when we did, it felt so peaceful. We hope to return here again, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Dianne's place. It was home from home, a beautiful, well kept home, with lovely, expansive outside spaces and plenty of opportunities for adults and children alike. Would certainly return and highly recommend to others. Thank you Dianne for your welcome and help.

Probably the best Air BNB stay I have had. Everything was extremely professional and clear and the hosts messages were very friendly. The house was amazing in such a brilliant location for some hikes in Snowdonia and walks to the beach,

We only stayed one night, but we absolutely loved it. Sharon’s place was perfect; lovely and private, with a great view. Sharon was also fantastic! Great communication, great directions to the location, and very helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend Sharon and her lovely place, and we would absolutely stay there again 🫶

What a fabulous few days we have had in a gorgeous house and perfect location. The house was spacious, well furnished with a lovely Garden, BBQ and Outdoor dining space. With the beach practically at the bottom of the road it was the ideal location for a short break with our family and 2 year old little girl. The little things in this property really stood out for me from the welcome basket to the mini toiletries. They also catered well for children with a cot, high chair, stair gate and toys. Julie was a fabulous host and communicated well although we had no issues while we were there. Highly Recommended! Thank You
