Shell Cottage is a traditional fishermen's dwelling set directly on the waterfront in a traffic-free zone in atmospheric Mousehole harbour. Perfectly positioned next to the sea, it is a few steps from the beach and just around the corner from all village amenities including award-winning restaurants, shops. delicatessens and two pubs. This idyllic recently renovated fisherman's cottage has a large terrace and spectacular views out to sea. You couldn’t be any closer to the sea without getting wet! The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. Alternatively pour yourself a glass of wine, relax and let the world turn a little!

The Old Steam House

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are a 2 minute walk to the village shops and pub. We have fibre cable to the premises so very fast Wi-Fi!

Cosy cottage, walk to the 3 beaches

The Cart Lodge at Porthcurno Barns Family run, eco-friendly, cosy and spacious barn conversion nestled in a peaceful seaside hamlet walking distance to the stunning Porthcurno, Pedn Vounder beaches and the Minack Theatre. Plenty of walks on the doorstep across the SW Coastal Path. The Logan Rock Inn pub is 5 mins walk across the fields and Sennen Cove surf beach is less than 10 mins drive. Newlyn, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount, St Ives are a 15-25 min drive for activities and restaurants.

Nestled in the historic valley of Porthcurno, Telegraph Cottage was once the coach house & stables for the telegraph station that connected this Cornish village to the world. Today, Porthcurno is a charming coastal community with a famous open-air theatre, a stunning beach beneath dramatic cliffs, and the award-winning PK Porthcurno – Museum of Global Communications. Visitors come here for its history, culture, and scenery — and Telegraph Cottage is the perfect base to experience it all.
