Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

This bright stonebuilt cottage is located up a verdant combe in the magnificent Quantock Hills. Outside the front-door is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Ancient beech, ash and oak woodland rise to the Iron Age fort on Danesborough hill. Whortleberries abound in Summer on the bracken and heather covered slopes. The Old Stables were restored to a very high standard in 2018 and offer very comfortable and spacious accommodation with two bedrooms, both with en-suite shower room. The living space is open plan with a large sitting area, dining and fitted kitchen. There are two sets of bi-fold doors with lovely views across the valley. Under floor heating makes the cottage very warm and cosy. Wifi is connected and there is ample parking.
