Beachfront holiday rental in Porthcawl

We all loved the place immediately. It was clean, tastefully furnished and yet comfortable. In fact it felt like home. Very well equipped and generous with amenities and also ideal for our 2 miniature dachshunds. The location was brilliant as we could walk to restaurants and shops without using the car. The car parking space was also a real plus. In addition it was handy for beautiful beaches and countryside. Jo is a responsive and friendly host and we will certainly try to return here.

the barn was absolutely beautiful inside and out.the enclosed garden was beautifully kept.our dogs loved being outside and it was all enclosed and safe .the pool table and projector were a lovely addition 😊. the location was amazing and views outstanding.austin was very responsive when we had an issue with the projector and responded in minutes .look forward to returning in the future

A great place to stay in a fantastic location, right by the sea. Dee's flat is comfortable and has everything needed, it's right on the SW Coast Path and central to Ilfracombe shops but very quiet. We parked at Larkstone Lane car park and bought a permit online although we could have parked nearer. The bus links east and west along the coast were great and very handy for walks. Dee was really helpful, especially as we were getting the boat from Lundy so didn't know what time we'd arrive - thanks for a lovely stay!

From booking the stay right to the very end, this was an amazing find in terms of a place to stay for our mini family holiday. The access to the beach was perfect and just being able to look outside some of the rooms to see waves and the sea was serene. Fiona was super helpful and fast in her responses. Instructions were also clear. Would definitely recommend :)

We had a great stay in the mumbles, very convenient to the local amenities. good sized accommodation and dog friendly which is great!

A wonderful family home containing everything you need. It is comfortably and well furnished. The children's room was very welcome and well used by our children. The house is very well placed and the parking area was extremely useful. It is a great base for exploring Swansea and the surrounding area with pretty beaches very close by. The Mumbles is well served with shops and restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the house. We had 6 fabulous nights and would definitely return again. Kathryn is a very responsive and welcoming host. Thank you for having us.

Myself, my husband and our dog had a great stay. Lovely peaceful area and we enjoyed exploring Penarth and walking through the many parks nearby. This is a lovely apartment in a great location.

The property was lovely and clean and well stocked with all of the essentials. Very close to the beach with its own parking. The site has everyone to keep the kids occupied and provides a great base for exploring the local area

We loved our stay in Combe Martin, the caravan is perfectly located a short walk from the beautiful beaches, and there are wonderful walks on the South West Coast path and so many places interesting places to visit only a short drive away. The accommodation itself was really lovely and spotlessly clean. Please note there is no WiFi, and we feel it should not be listed in the amenities, as this is misleading. We finally purchased a connection to the John Fowler WiFi which was very poor and kept dropping off. This was frustrating and the only disappointment in an otherwise really fantastic stay.

Lovely accomadation, and gemma was very prompt at replying to any messages. Very attentive lady. Would certainly book gemma van again if visiting somerset.

Really nice caravan, well presented and really clean and tidy, the park is a little dated but they have lots for young kids to do. We bought the leisure passes and did actually use them as the pool is small and not many activities for older kids. We left the park everyday to visit different places so if that’s what your after this is perfect

Dear Sir / Madam, It was a lovely location and easy to get to. We are appreciative of the complimentary beer, wine and sweets that awaited our arrival! The only issue was it was impossible to lock and unlock the first door on the right using the key. Overall, a great location for families and friends to stay for the weekend or week. Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

We had a wonderful week in Diana and Roger’s caravan on park dean, beautiful views of the estuary, short walk to the campsite pool and entertainment. We day tripped to Pembry county park and Kidwelly castle but otherwise went in the pool everyday and enjoyed the restaurant, bar and evening entertainment. The kids loved it. Caravan was really great, comfortable, well equipped, the right size for four of us. Diana and Roger could not have been more accommodating- they pre booked pool sessions for us, met us on check in and answered every question within an hour - fantastic hosts- thank you and we will come again.

The cottage was extremely well equipped. If the weather had been warmer, the garden would have been great for a bbq. All the bedrooms had very comfortable beds. We found parking on the street all three nights of our stay.

Wonderful weekend, perfect for exploring Kenfig Nature Reserve. Barbara was so welcoming and friendly.

Great stay. First things first: the views are stunning. The flat is bigger than I expected and is perfect for a family of 4. The flat is well equipped and with all you need for your stay like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, soap, even some toiletries and kitchen supplies like cling film etc (big thank you for that!) which means you can arrive with just your suitcase. Only missing thing is a dishwasher but we weren’t cooking complex meals. Parking in the street is fine but you might have to tour neighbouring streets for a spot. Over all we had a great time and would highly recommend the place.

I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and cozy the apartment was. Everything is done with care and attention to detail — it’s clear a lot of love went into creating this space. It was a real pleasure to stay here, and I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The location is also great, especially if you’re travelling without a car. Thanks to Miles for being a kind and helpful host!

Raynor’s place was amazing and we’ll definitely be returning. Raynor was warm, friendly and responded to questions quickly and kindly. The apartment was squeaky clean, really well equipped and comfortable, great sea views. The local beach was delicious - a lovely blend of wild waves, wide sands, huge smooth rocks and great rock-pools. We ate yummy brunch in a great beach cafe that was just a short walk from the apartment and had fascinating tour of The Royal Mint. All in all we had a fantastic time. Thanks, Raynor! 🙏🏻♥️

Amazing location! Walk to the beach in minutes and straight onto the coastal walk. The view from Tims first floor apartment is hard to beat! Totally unspoilt; overlooks the golf course and out to sea. Beautiful. And if surfing is your thing it has an amazing surf club nearby with items to hire, lessons & a cool cafe just mins away. A short drive or half an hour flat walk into town for shops/pubs/ supermarket etc. Building itself has a good lift right outside the flat. Note there is a fair walk needed to carry bags from the car. We found it easier / shorter to park at the back of the building and wheel our luggage through the open courtyard (rather than parking by the main entrance gate). We would highly recommend and love to return.

Our stay was beautiful! The apartment was stunning, the pictures don’t do this interior justice. It was clean, warm and we had the best night sleep! There were so many lovely little editions for our kids too including colouring books, board games and beach toys. The local area was quiet but with the beach, a playground and restaurant on our door step, our first day meant we had everything we needed whilst we navigated the local area. The welcome book was really thorough as well! The pages on things to do was really helpful and we ended up going to dinosaur park for the day- a great choice! We would definitely recommend this apartment and location!
