Beachfront holiday rental in Port-des-Barques

We had a lovely stay at this rental! The accommodation is not only very good and impeccably clean, but it is also in a great location, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Everything has been thought out down to the last detail for our comfort: the bedding is of very good quality, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, and the little touches (cakes, tea, coffee) really made a difference. Colette and her husband are pleasant hosts and always available to answer our questions and give us valuable tips to take full advantage of the area. Very pleasant stay in a well-located apartment in La Rochelle, clean and tastefully decorated

A really perfect place for a couple who like a quiet stay. Two smallish squares offer very good local facilities and restaurants, while Carrefour local is only a one minute walk away, next to a cycle hire shop and a Pharmacy. The larger towns - La Flotte, Le Bois and ST Martin are all easily reached by the wonderful cycle paths.

Very nice house, a real little cocoon!!! So nice the courtyard with the scent of jasmine that embalms the house I adooore!!!

I had a pleasant stay in their studio with all the necessary comforts and very clean. Very pleasant terrace where, upstream, they had found a system to secure the space for my cat who accompanied me during this stay. Line and her family are very friendly, warmly welcome and the friendly exchanges throughout the stay were very appreciable. Many things are nearby, whether shops, restaurants, bike paths, the beach, the market... So many places to discover that I will come back to the island and especially without hesitation to Line and her family.

We had a great time at La Flotte. Beatrice is really very friendly with lots of good advice even though we knew the island very well. The pool is a real plus and the garden is very zen. We'll be happy to go back.

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

What a great stay. Beautiful clean home with plenty of amenities. Everything at walking distance. Enjoyed with our children and grandchildren. A lovely swimming pool and the playground and beach across the street. Restaurants nearby. In short, a lovely place. Frédéric is a very friendly host and responds quickly to questions.

We had a great family stay at Anthony's house. It is very well equipped and the layout of the different rooms (sleeping area, dining area, etc.) allows you to share time together but also to have your own space! The centre of the village is accessible on foot (there are all the essential shops) and we rented bikes, which allowed us to visit the rest of the island on foot and go to the beach a few minutes by bike from the house. Finally, thank you to Justine from the concierge, who gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was available despite our very early departure, not to mention her valuable advice on the best places on the island!

Everything was perfect: the accommodation is as advertised, very clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The pool is really a big plus, super nice and well maintained. The host was lovely, very welcoming and available. Thanks again for this great stay, I recommend 100%!

Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

Nathalie’s daughter was there to greet us and show us the house. Our group of four enjoyed our stay in this amazing house, which is in a beautiful location overlooking the bay. We had fun exploring the island and riding bikes. We highly recommend this villa!

Very pleasant short stay despite the bad weather in this very nice apartment ideally located. Everything is available so you feel at home. Very clean rental, independent check-in and check-out thanks to the key box which leaves more freedom but prevents any meeting with the owners who remain available if needed. Parking at the bottom of the rental, shops nearby, colourful huts housing atypical artists right next door, walk around the citadel and various and varied restaurants all around. In short, everything is there for a great stay and if the sun is out it is the ideal rental.

What can I say except that the accommodation is sublime, in a beautiful setting. The ultra-complete equipment, the comfort of having bikes for everyone as well as the restaurants/bars (the Atypique!) without forgetting the nearby beaches won us over. We will be back!
