Family-friendly holiday rentals in Poros

We were thrilled with Efi’s Villa. It was spacious and luxurious beyond what we expected for a Greek home. It was amply roomy for our large group of 13 plus a baby. Though we spent much of our time outside, there are lots of rooms and sitting areas in addition to the bedrooms. The master bedroom suite is enormous. The pool is as large as it looks in the picture, a real delight. The pool house is another dwelling and spacious. Efi helped me with so many things and I enjoyed getting to know her. Our son got married at a nearby venue, and this was a great place to relax in between events and to enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria's beautiful villa. The space was perfect for our group of 8 to be comfortable with each person having their own room and private bathroom. There are plenty of amenities included - we used the downstairs kitchen area for mealtimes, which leads to the outside space and and exterior covered dining area offering shade from the sun. The house also comes complete with air-conditioning throughout and window nets, keeping the inside of the house cool and free of insects. The pool area, complete with multiple loungers, was great for relaxation and many trees in the spacious gardens offered shade and peace. This is a fabulously tranquil and relaxing space with a great number of good restaurants, and bakeries, only a few minutes away. Maria is a welcoming and gracious host who quickly responds to any queries, and clearly cares deeply about the well-being and enjoyment of her guests. We would not hesitate to visit this fabulous property again. Thank you Maria!

If you are looking for a quiet slice of island life you can't do better than staying at Faidon's House. Located in a quiet pocket of Aegina away from the hustle of the port area, Faidon's House is a real treat. Numerous tavernas operated by some true characters are within a short walk as are several beach bars to while away the hours staring out at the beautiful horizon of glistening blue sea and stunning island vistas. Alkis is a superb host, responding immediately to any questions we had during our stay as well as sending over some recommendations for places to visit beforehand.

A pretty, peaceful, private garden apartment with a spectacular view of the bright blue water and nearby islands. The house sits at the end of the road, and this little studio and connected garden face the hill and sea with no houses beyond, so it feels secluded but not isolated. Comfortable lounge seating inside, in the garden, and by the pool. The pool is shared but I was usually alone. All outdoor areas come with spectacular views! A clean and useful little kitchen with a clothes washer. AC works great. Also a ceiling fan. Thoughtfully decorated. 10 minute walk to grocery stores restaurants, clothing shops, bakery, seaside bar/restaurants with cabana sunbeds. A local hike to a temple with a 360 degree view of the island and sea. Extremely accommodating and responsive hosts. They picked me up from the ferry and when I mentioned my bed was a little too firm for me they found me a mattress topper to make it perfect! They live on site but were very respectful of my space. An oasis!

We had an amazing stay at John's place! John and his family are truly exceptional hosts—pleasant, helpful, and so welcoming. John's local recommendations were spot-on. The house is lovely—beautifully decorated with charming features and character. It is bright, spacious, tidy, and clean, with all the essentials provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is equally fantastic, offering convenient access to grocery shops, a pharmacy, and excellent local restaurants, all within easy reach. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend staying here and are looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you, John and family, for making our stay so comfortable and special!

It was perfect. The view is just surreal, so beautiful. 4 minutes by car you can take long walks up in the ancient olive grove. You do need a car but things are very easy and quick to reach; the ports, supermarkets, bakeries etc. the fireplace was the cherry on top. Maria is extremely nice, welcomed my dogs and was 110% helpful when needed!!! So grateful I could stay <3

Mrs. Eleni and her husband were very hospitable people. Willing to help with anything we needed about beaches, restaurants, etc., as it was our first time in Poros. Also due to an unexpected, as we missed the return ferry, we contacted them and they stayed another night at the home, even though the next day they were expecting new customers. We were very satisfied with the hospitality.

We had a great stay! The house is in an exceptional place, breathtakingly beautiful. The road to get there, bumpy earth away from 15’, is not for every driver, but you get it used to it quickly. Beautiful views along the way, and also on site. The choice between 2 beautiful natural beaches with transparent water. We were there in early Sept. and shared 1 beach (with trees for some shade) only with 2 likeable 80-year-old ladies and their dog Rosa, who came to swim there every morning. The other beach is really "private" and blissful! The house is a bit messy, with no electricity grid -not for discerning visitors. You can use everything that is available freely. Lots of beds to place freely where you want. I slept outside and enjoyed a spectacular sunrise every morning. Tip: I brought a light solar energy guirlande that provided a lot of atmosphere and pleasant lighting for nice evenings outside on the terrace. Nice contact with the owners. A paradise! Merci!!!

This was a super place to stay. The views from the house are stunning and the hilltop location means there is a cooling breeze in hot weather. Andreas was an excellent host; helpful, kind and on-hand if we needed advice. Galatas itself has a good array of local shops and it is straightforward to travel to Poros. Nafplion and the famous archaeological sites are within driving distance for a day trip, and you can also go to other local ports to catch a boat to Hydra or Spetses.

Spacious and comfortable home with beautiful sea views and part of the mountain. Even better than the pictures! Nancy was not physically present but showed bcp of responsiveness to the few questions we asked ourselves. Highly recommendable location.

We were greeted at the tourist agency by very sympathetic staff, one of whom spoke very good French. Everything was therefore very simple. He drove ahead to the house and showed us a safe parking space very close to the house Beautiful terrace on Ermione Very convenient place to sail to Hydra Lots of fish restaurants and shops including a nice fish shop

We had the most amazing holiday. Balcony with view to the sea, beautiful sunsets, dolphins, choice between swimming in the sea(no beach) and swimming in the pool with sea water, beautiful decorated room, very good oven and kitchen essentials. 2 supermarkets and 2 bakeries 5 minutes walking distance with really good quality products: olives, feta cheese, goat’s milk yogurt, bougaza, nice fruits and vegetables. The village and restaurants are in 10 minutes walking distance( O Miltos has amazing food, especially the grilled fagri fish). We wanted a restful holiday, to enjoy the sea, the sun and the good food and Ilioperato was the perfect place for us. Our host, Kiria Rena, was so kind and helpful, made us feel so welcomed. Thanks again Sue for a lovely peaceful few nights tucked away in Ermioni. The cottage is so sweet, cool and comfortable and contained everything you could possibly need. Sue was extremely helpful when showing us around and always responsive to messages - would definitely recommend as a fantastic holiday spot.

We loved our mid-week stay at Mara's place. We drove from Athens and it was easy to follow the sat nav. The place is gorgeous and everything is in great condition. The view is so relaxing and beautiful we just spent our evenings looking at it. Thank you for having us, we will be back!
