Beautiful location and cottage is in great condition. Enjoyed the lake!

We had a wonderful time at Jennifer’s home. Her parents, Ed and Kay welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They provided wine and delicious snacks for us and also gave us passes to Rumbling Bald. The place is right on the lake and absolutely beautiful. The inside is much more beautiful than in the pictures, as it is tastefully decorated and good quality linens and towels were provided. They had every thing available that we could need, expensive toiletries and plenty of floats and kayaks. I can’t say i’ve ever stayed at an air bnb that was so thoughtfully appointed before. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

Tammy was a wonderful host and very responsive. She even took it upon herself to contact us and let us know we could check in several hours early. Her place was spotless and everything looked practically new. The "house rules" were short, sensible and not burdensome in the least. The kayaks were great fun and a wonderful amenity. It's also a very convenient location to a lot of the area attractions. It's almost right on a section of the Palmetto Trail, which we were there to bike. She even allowed us to store our bikes in the downstairs mud room, which was perfect to keep them secure and out of the way. The surround sound system was a cool amenity as was the huge shower with the multiple shower heads. Great getaway!

We really enjoyed staying here, we were here a week and have been to NC many many times. It was a really pleasant experience. The condo was clean and had all the necessities. The bed was comfortable and the location was close to a lot of great shops, cafes, and trails. We’re big hikers and it was super easy to get to a lot of different trails from here with multiple roads and highways accessible. Also very close to Asheville and Hendersonville.

Overall a really beautiful and peaceful spot that checked all the boxes for what I needed for the week. Super comfy and cozy. Had a really lovely stay, and Paul was super responsive. Definitely will be looking to book here again when I return to the area in the future!

What a great little gem in a beautiful setting. The space is perfect for two and the accommodations are comfortable. Great for getting a little work done and then enjoying the view and the lake. Lake living is the best. Very relaxing. Mike and Vanessa were lovely and the process was easy. Highly recommended.

We came here for a peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got. BEAUTIFUL location, home and backyard. The river just runs right behind the home and sounds and looks beautiful. Loved the home and quirkiness. Very clean as well. The river was so peaceful to listen to off the porch or in the hot tub. Would 100/10 recommend this home.

I booked this house for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We had 14 people total and there was plenty of room for everyone. There was no service for us but they did have star link internet and it worked really well! We loved that there were so many things to do - kayaks, hot tub, and of course the lake :)

LOVED the home! We had a fantastic time at this lake house in Mill Spring. The home had everything we needed, and every room had a beautiful view of the lake!!! Truly beautiful and peaceful to wake up to! It was also just a short drive to the Tryon horse show, which made things super convenient for us. We were able to rent the boat for a day, which was a great experience—we caught a bunch of fish and had a blast out on the water. Heather and Michael were wonderful hosts and very responsive! When our flights were canceled, they were incredibly accommodating and let us extend our stay by a day, which we really appreciated. The house and the hospitality made for a great trip, and we’re already talking about coming back! Thank you Heather and Michael!

Absolutely loved our stay! Our boys loved the kayaks and being able to fish off the dock whenever they wanted. Our host was wonderful and the property is such a gem. Lots of extras to make the stay very comfortable.

Great house with lots of room. Amazing view of the lake from several different rooms. Linens were great too. The large windows were a favorite of all the guests from 19-56!

This was a memorable experience! The location of the apartment with regard to the town is ideal. The garage apartment is very comfortable and cozy. It overlooks the lake and there’s such a beautiful view! The place is clean and the host is super nice. She took my phone call right after I booked it and then wanted to ask for an additional day. Also, timely texts came with specific instructions for checking in, checking out , etc. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and close to the local wedding venue we were in the area for. The kids and dog loved the pond and outdoor area.

Will be coming back and bringing friends! Felt right at home, beautiful views, great water toys.

it was a wonderful stay and Joy was a great host. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The condo was very comfortable to stay in for 4 of us and has part of the lake right behind it which makes it serene. The check in was smooth , wifi worked without a problem , parking is right in front of the unit, the neighborhood is quiet, and hiking trails are close by. Important to know that you may have to drive a bit for getting groceries etc if you plan to cook dinners. Asheville downtown is about an hour away with 20 min of highway time and other 40 min is winding roads getting to the scenic community. That part of the drive is quiet dark after sunset. Overall, it's a great place for R&R, and Joy is a very warm and responsive host - we would love to come back again soon. Thanks Joy.

It was a great peaceful Escape for the weekend. The hosts were very communicative and the place was very clean.

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

We had a great time! My kids loved going on the canoe in the pond. We also loved going to the pool after a day out apple picking and hiking. The mornings are also peaceful sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall.

We've visited this area several times and this location is our favorite. This place is at the end and quiet. The deck is a great place to sit, relax and drink your coffee in the quiet morning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom, while small, was adequate and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and allowed us to cook and warm up the local BBQ (try it!). The owner was very easy to communicate with.

We love this area and the setting is extremely relaxing, so it is always our go-to place when we head out to Flat Rock for meetings.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a family reunion with our twin 6yo daughters. It was cozy so I would say that more than two adults would find it difficult to share the space unless you only needed a space to sleep. The place was clean, had a lovely porch to enjoy the lake views, and was very comfortable.
