Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Plum Island

This was a great house for our annual girls weekend. Our group of 5 had plenty of space to hang out in the kitchen/dining area and living room and had our own beds (2 people shared the upstairs room and everyone else had their own room). The house looked just like in the photos and was very clean. It was a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to nearby restaurants. We would absolutely rent it again!

Oh my goodness. This place was a DREAM. Such a beautiful home with a view you can’t top. My husband and I stayed with our children and two friends for an east coast summer getaway and we could not have found a better place. Awesome setup, view, and Gaby could not have been more helpful. We would love to stay here again.

This was a perfect location- off the main road so traffic noise was not an issue- a view of the beautiful marsh. Plenty of spaces to enjoy together and apart- sitting out on the up stairs deck driving a glass of wine watching the sunset- just spectacular. Great kitchen with everything you need to make a meal. Comfortable beds, each couple had their own bathroom. Host who was very responsible ve, offered early check in- later check out which was wonderful. The best stay on Plum Island we’ve had in the many years we’ve been coming here.

Kyoko was kind and responsive! Her place is spotless and well organized with everything you need. The cottage sits out on the marsh so when you are inside it feels totally private even though you’re in a neighborhood and close to everything on PI and downtown Newburyport.

Beautiful home with water views, amazing location to walk or drive into Portsmouth or the outlets in Kittery.

We stayed at Katie’s home over a weekend to celebrate my sisters upcoming marriage. Ever person spent the weekend gushing about how adorable this place was. It was full of charm and we LOVED it. We had a bonfire, walked to the beach, and loved having an outdoor space to hang out. Katie was wonderful and responsive! She was so kind and flexible. This was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

Great location and beautiful views. We will for sure look to stay here again on any future visits to Gloucester.

Great place to stay, and hosts were very friendly and responsive. One note.. not related to the unit or the hosts but to navigation to the unit ... our GPS had us drive right past it and then drive around the block and attempt to pull in from behind which is impossible. So if you choose to stay here, and you should :-) , be aware..

This was the perfect place to stay in Ipswich! Clean, beautifully furnished, and easy walking distance to town. Will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely love our stay in Carols Cottage. It’s so much cuter in person! Cozy and inviting, loved all the windows and opening them up to enjoy the cool sea breeze. Watching the tide coming in and out was a favorite part of relaxing in the private yard overlooking the little harbor. The town of Rockport is like a postcard and the cottage is right in the middle of everything which was really nice.

Only positive comments, everything was perfect. Location was superb as well as living accommodations.

We had a great stay! The space was nice, clean, and very quiet. Parking was convenient, and the location was fantastic— since it was just a short drive the Crane Estate (where we attended a wedding). Communication with the host was great—we received quick and helpful responses. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept place in a great area!

Very nice place, reasonable price and very close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Amanda was great to communicate with. We were able to check in early. We did have an issue with the keypad once, reached out to Amanda and it was resolved quickly. Amanda was great with communication before we even checked in. I was a little concerns because I’ve never used an Airbnb before. Wasn’t sure how it worked as far as extra towels and necessities and Amanda was great, she told me that there would be enough and if not, she would Provide more. We would definitely like to stay there again. I think the only thing that I would suggestion is curtains on the windows. There are blinds on the windows but being that close to the main strip it’s very bright and it always looks like it is daytime in the apartment when it is nighttime. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to book again.

We were in town for a memorial service, and Peter's place was the perfect sanctuary to recharge after an emotional day. The immediate neighborhood is peaceful and within walking distance of Rockport's shops and restaurants.

Studio by The Sea Barbara&Jim, Traveling alone is often difficult. I felt very secure upon arrival. The hosts were welcoming and happy to greet me. They gave me a tour of the Studio and were very informative about the surrounding area. So much to see and enjoy. I will always hold this Airbnb stay close to me. Come and visit Studio by The Sea! My stay at the Marsh-Mellow, hosted by MaryJane, was phenomenal. From check-in to check-out, the process was simple as MaryJane had clear, detailed instructions on how to enter as well as great recommendations on what to do in the area. I have no hesitation when I recommend this space as your next getaway trip. You will not be disappointed!

The unit was exactly as advertised. Spotless and well kept with modern amenities. Chris is a great communicator…never waited more than a few minutes for a response. All in all a great stay. Thanks, Chris!

What more can I say that hasn't already been said by other guests? The place was perfect for our 35th anniversary get-a-way. Darryl was so on top of things. We had a question and it was answered within 2 minutes. He really is a SUPER HOST.

We loved our stay! Christina’s condo was comfortable, peaceful and perfectly located. We were walkable to the entire downtown area, museums, the concert venue, walking paths, shopping and restaurants. But the best thing was sitting outside on our private deck overlooking the harbor, with Motif #1 just across the inlet. We almost didn’t want to leave the condo…so gorgeous! And Christina is lovely, making sure we were okay, had everything we needed, so responsive. After the condo coffeemaker stopped working, she kindly offered a gift card to a nearby coffee shop, and before night fell, a new coffeemaker was delivered to the condo! Such a thoughtful host… we will be back!

Diane’s condo was a wonderful choice! Her place is clean and spacious and she left very clear helpful instructions for an easy stay. It comes with everything you need and anything you’d want to do in walking distance, highly recommend this spot!

Seriously, this was a super find! Perfect for a couple who wants to stay and explore the area! It was so centrally located to drive to town and Rockport and walk to galleries, the beach, and more! The kitchen had everything, not your typical Airbnb with 4 dishes and 4 spoons. EVERYTHING we needed/wanted was already there, laundry detergent, sunscreen, welcome binder, hangers, etc... We wish we had planned more than 3 days. And it was wonderful to have a dedicated parking space and private entrance as well as a GIANT deck with a table and cornhole too. We had a great stay and hope you do too!
