Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Playa del Carmen

Responsive, friendly host. I had a problem with the showerhead and a curtain missing. He sent someone the next day to fix the issue. Some mosquitos that bit me a bunch in the Airbnb, but not the fault of host. Private pool is shared with the others in the small apartment complex Airbnb is located in, but so worth it. Great for pictures!

Great stay – happy to come back! We had a really nice stay! Originally, we had booked another apartment, but due to construction, we were relocated to another accommodation – and we were more than satisfied with it. Everything was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The host was friendly and took good care of everything. Will definitely come back again and can only recommend the place!

Excellent apartment, the basics to put together a meal or warm up. The apartment is very nice and as seen in the photos. In the cuadra hay minimercado, fruteria, restaurant and stalls in the plaza. The dpto is a few minutes from the ADO terminal.

Matteo and Sabina had a wonderful Airbnb and were incredibly gracious hosts. The Airbnb is a great one bedroom that is immaculately clean and prepared with all the necessary items you need. We stayed for a month and had no issues and we’re lucky to have the host clean our apartment once a week in the cleaning was done incredibly well, and the house was spotless. The neighborhood is great and it’s two blocks from CTM and only about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach would highly recommend for any digital nomads or people needing a good homebase to work from. There is two dedicated dedicated work desk and great Wi-Fi.

This is one of the most beautiful airbnbs I stayed at. Each room has its own bathroom and deck access and then there are 2 additional small bathrooms- 5 bathrooms wow. Decorations beautiful. Beautiful views from patio. Security and locked community makes you feel safe. We appreciated the crib, baby bath, and high chair provided. Restaurant on site served the best meals we had while in Playa Del Carmen. The pool is enormous. Hosts are very responsive and accommodating. There is a small store after you enter community on right that you can buy some necessities. It's nice you can park a car for free- we rented a car. It was generous of host to grocery shop for us so we had things we needed on arrival after flight with baby. It was also helpful that they assisted in setting up transport to and from airport. I would love to come back and I am recommending this airbnb to family and friends.

We had a fantastic 10 night stay at Holly’s apartment. We found it incredibly walkable to the main touristy areas but enough off the beaten path that we were able to enjoy some tranquility at night and in the mornings. The 72 beach is within 10 mins walk and it’s one of the nicer and less crowded public beaches. There are some incredible restaurants close by like Tropical Tacos and P’tit Shoux. You’re also within 15 mins walk to a supermarket. The rooftop pool is small and the roof is never crowded. The folks in the building were super kind. We did have a minor issue when we arrived that holly was incredibly responsive to and she exceeded our expectations in her response and solution focused attitude. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful condo and great accommodation. We loved the location and beach club access. We also enjoyed having access to cook meals for our family of 4. We loved the gym and it was overall a beautiful location. We highly recommend!

Patricia’s house is great. We spent 8 nights at this property. We have 2 toddlers and 1 baby. We spent a lot of time at swimming pools, kids loved it! The kids also enjoyed exploring the courtyard and the rooftops. The beautiful beach is just 5 minutes away. Patricia is great to communicate with and gave a lot detailed information and suggestions for the restaurants and attractions. Ruth and Rafa are very sweet. They kept the house,the ground,and the pools clean. We would definitely love to stay here again. One of the toilets water tank malfunctioned. Patricia contacted house manager for the issue. It did take more than we expected. I understand Ruth and Rafa probably had other properties they need to take care of. But when they came, they got it fixed quickly.

The home was lovely and perfect for our needs. Location was FANTASTIC!

Amazing place to stay with fabulous views of the ocean with an amazing pool and front beach access. Literally minutes from 5th avenue. Best location in Playa Del Carmen. Not in the middle of all the tourism, but just close enough to walk to all the stores, bars and restaurants.

Grisell’s condo was exactly as described. Perfect for two. Great balcony - loved the afternoon sun. The Gallery is so centrally located. Grisell was very clear with instructions and responded to questions quickly. Thank you Grisell.

the communication with the host as well as his trusted man was perfect. Being a regular of PDC I had chosen this apt for its location ideally located. the rooftop was sublime. In the morning, afternoon or evening for a good meal overlooking the sea and Cozumel... magical. impeccable bathrooms and abundant hot water, like at home. a functional kitchen to prepare meals, nothing is missing. we stayed in this condo for 25 weeks! Great for long stay great water pressure and hot water. Wifi was extremely dependable and fast for videos and working. Safe, quiet, excellent staff on premises. Well stocked, good air conditioning. Roof top pool was a great addition with nice breezes to cool off. We watched many sunsets and sunrises! We would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for making this our home away from home!

We had an enjoyable stay! Haley was extremely responsive and provided very thorough instructions. Communication with Halex was quick, always responded in a timely manner. It is a bit of a drive to get to 5th Avenue and all that is in that area, however, it is quiet and peaceful when it comes to winding down in the evening. Also, in the evening a lot of outdoor food tents pop up just a short walk from the condo becoming quite a busy and living area.

The place is very strategic since the square is a pick up or pick up point for Xcaret tours and others and other tour operators !!! There are two shops for shopping like Oxxo and 7eleven very close and a mall!! 5th Avenue is very close to everything to walk !

A very good accommodation but great location shower bathroom was very good big and spacious apartment with nice balcony can be recommended we will go there again
