The neighborhood was great, the private beach in the neighborhood was beautiful! The house is situated at 15 minute walk from places to shop or eat and everyone is very pleasant! Ananda, the hostess replies to queries very quickly and has excellent suggestions for local shops, businesses or transportation services. Our group of 12 was very happy staying in this home! Other guests have mentioned that the pool is cold, it’s true—but the local beach is warm!

They helped us with any and EVERYTHING that we needed, and treated us like family. Truly made the Urban Eden feel like home.

Brilliant place, great location and amenities. The host is super friendly and very nice to deal with. The house was beautifully set up, with great amenities and is located in a very safe and friendly community. We had a great stay at Michelle's place and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Casa Palmas was an incredible place to stay! Check-in was seamless, and the host was responsive and helpful. The house was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with handcrafted mahogany details and all the comforts of home. The central A/C, purified water system, and high-speed Wi-Fi made our stay even better. The location was unbeatable—just steps from the beach and a short walk to 5th Avenue for great dining and shopping. The three terraces offered stunning views, and the tropical gardens made it feel like a private paradise. This home was perfect for our group, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. We highly recommend Casa Palmas and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great experience with Matthew. The home was in great condition and had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and spacious. Matthew was super-communicative and easy to reach when we had questions or issues. The house is right by the entrance to Playacar, and that had both advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, it was a five minute walk to town and the beach. On the other side, it's a highly trafficked area and in our opinion not the nicest block in Playacar. You have have to walk south 10 minutes to get to the nicer areas. The shared pool was okay and there were people there, but the water didn't look that clean so we didn't really use it. Our kids were also scared of the coatis that roamed the common area. All in all, I recommend the place. We enjoyed our stay.

Gillian’s place was so beautiful. Artistically and tastefully decorated with everything you need to feel at home. Fantastic location. While it is conveniently close to downtown, it’s still perfectly located within Playacar. A couple of things we learned after a few days that made our time more enjoyable. Rent bikes the first day. Then you can easily get around and find all the little gems in Playacar. Xaman-Ha Paseo makes a loop around the golf course and it’s a bike lane on one side. The pool has a permanent visitor - Mr Iguana. He loves the pool, but for gods sake don’t feed him or any of the animals because they will become pests. Gillian’s condo is surrounded by a jungle patch that is an Aviary you can visit. It’s like watching the nature channel from the living room. If you come to PDC from a cooler, drier climate like us, leave the windows closed and turn on the AC in the rooms you occupy. Turn them off when you leave the room and shut doors to keep it cool.

Im extremely hard to please and Chris's home and Hosting was amazing. We are a family of 4 with a Toddler and 1 year old and this was EXACTLY what we needed. A pool, peace and quite. A guest sweet for Daddy lol Honestly, the most perfect LOCATION if youre not a drunk Boomer and care to walk. Its 8 mins walk to the beach and 15 mins walk to the heart of Playa. I would also reccommend taking a trip to the Stadium, where youll find Selecto grocery store and restaurants and OF COURSE the OUTDOOR GYM in the Stadium. WE LOVE YOU CHRIS Love, The GRAY FAM!

Just go ahead and book it. Safety is a must for me and I felt very safe while I was here - it’s a gated community. I was here for my birthday. I mostly communication with Ilona and she is super kind & very responsive, proactive with requests, she also recommend so many places & things to do as well as a lovely agent that helped me book my activities. She sent me pastry & a beautiful cake on my birthday which was very thoughtful. Home is gorgeous, clean. Pictures don’t do justice. 10/10 experience.

Our stay at this villa in Mexico was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning architecture, and the peaceful ambiance. The villa was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could have asked for. The outdoor space was beautiful with lush gardens, grotto with turtles, pool, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. The location was perfect, offering both privacy and easy access to local attractions, beaches, and restaurants. Ina the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing top-notch hospitality. This villa is amazing if you are looking for a family getaway. We stayed for a month and had several families visit us over the weeks we were here and everyone had a blast.

Wonderful place and exactly as described (the pictures do not do it justice) Mercedes was a wonderful and communicative host, set us up with a private chef and groceries waiting for us before we arrived. It was a great location, walkable to downtown. Would absolutely stay again!

This place was fantastic and our hosts were amazing. Our flights were delayed and then we were delayed again at immigration, but our hosts were still able to meet us at the house to let us in and show us around. The place itself is huge, great private pool, tons of bedrooms. Perfect for large groups. If we come back to PDC we’d definitely stay here again.

We took the family, all 10 of us to Playa del Carmen for a Christmas treat. Ages ranged from 10 months to us older grandparents. Glen, Esther & Skip, were extremely responsive from first inquiry to helping us find a ride service to the airport. We always felt they could help us out in a pinch. We arrived late at night & I remember, in the morning, stepping outside to the grounds & feeling like I was in a movie. Gorgeous lush, dense tropical vegetation, a stone crafted walkways winding to the gorgeous main villa & throughout the grounds. Plus a beautiful & expansive pool/ water layout. We chose to have a chef for breakfast every morning. Definitely a luxurious way to start your day. We took day trips, however, we thought why do we want to drive to a beach when we have an entire, stunning resort to ourselves. Whether you are a couple or larger group, this amazing Airbnb will definitely impress everyone.

Great home and perfect for our business owners planning retreat. The home is laid out well, clean and easy to get to. It is not near the beach and is on a golf course. That was fine with us since the group did morning jogs, jumped in the pool and then did planning sessions.

This place was wonderful, and exactly as described. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. It is worth getting a Geo coordinate / pin drop for Google maps. The address is something that Google seems to struggle with, or at least it did for us. Thankfully, the host was able to help us find the residence in this way immediately upon request.

beautiful villa, loads of space with large bedrooms. playacar is a bit of a walk from downtown playa del carmen but it suited our families well. We had excellent concierages who helped with bookings and suggestions.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Playa del Carmen! From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel completely at home, welcoming us as if it were our own place. They were super helpful, always available for anything we needed and always checking in with us which was awesome! The location was in a quiet and secure area. Felt very safe. The place was even better than the photos show, the rooms were huge and no shortage of bathrooms. The property was fantastic, had a big beautiful pool that was perfect for chill pools days at the house or cooling off after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. If you’re looking for a place that offers both relaxation, space and convenience, with an amazing host who goes above and beyond, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again!

A fabulous property with a wonderful owner. She ordered a separate bed for our 5 year old grandson, had the pool guy at the house within hours after we reported the hot tub was cool, arranged transport for seven of us from and to the Cancún airport (the others rented a car), arranged a great chef who cooked for us the nights we didn’t go out. Very spacious, even beyond the photos. Large supply of beach chairs and umbrellas for the almost adjacent beach. All in a very secure high end development, gated plus mobile security staff discreetly around. elegant is the best word for the house. Beautifully furnished. Our group of three generations had a great vacation.
