Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

Beautiful, Secluded, Nature Haven. Relax with the whole family at this tranquil spot. Swift Creek runs behind the house and there is a pond out front. Enjoy the serenity of no television and being close with nature. Nice big private yard surrounded by trees and wildlife. Our cabin was built with logs from Tennessee. We are located in the coastal plains of North Carolina. Although we are out in the country , we are 25 minutes from the quaint town of New Bern and 20 minutes from Geenville.

Escape to Camp Carl for a secluded getaway in a cozy cabin that sleeps 5. Enjoy ultimate privacy as you relax on the porch overlooking the pond. The grill and fire pit are there for outdoor cooking and relaxation. Explore nature trails on foot or bring your ATV! Nearby, a shared dock awaits for you to ride your boat or kayak. The property also offers hunting. RV parking is available for an extra $35 per night. Camp Carl is a true retreat for those seeking a peaceful and nature-filled escape.

A small 1 1/2 story cabin located in the Edenton historic district less than a 2 block walk to Shopping and Restaurants on Broad Street. It is located in the back yard of our home among gardens and a quiet neighborhood. Its only a 4+ block walk to the Barker House, Cupola House, Waterfront Park, and other points of interest. This very charming Cabin has just been restored in Fall 2019 with all new floors, walls, HVAC, Bathroom, TVs up and Down, furniture, etc. Some limited cooking features.

It was our hope to create a space that feels warm, inviting & unique. Whether you’re traveling to hunt, fish, or simply escape from daily life, make ‘The Boathouse’ your next home away from home. The Boathouse is recently renovated and well equipped. It offers on-site access to the Pungo River and Intracoastal Waterway. Sip your morning coffee on the deck or patio, then utilize the private boat ramp and head out on the water. Following your outdoor adventure, gather around the fire pit for s’mores and relish a beautiful sunset.

Country Lane Cabin

Country Lane Cabin is a quiet, peaceful place nestled in the trees. Perfect for couples! Relax in the shade of the front porch or warm up by the fire pit in the patio. Amenities include small fridge and microwave, toaster, and coffee pot with fresh ground local coffee. Firewood is also provided for the fire pit. Please do not bring your pets. No smoking or vaping, and no loud music or parties. No TV and no Wi-Fi, but cell service is usually good.

Located in the woods not to far from civilization, but far enough to look up and see the stars - Driveway is gated - property is about 20 minutes from famous Merchants Millpond State Park - 30 minutes from Great Dismal Swamp - not to far from Chesapeake or Virginia Beach - 1 hr 15 minutes from Outer Banks - 30 minutes from Colonial Town of Edenton -plenty of trails on property to ride - Hunting (when season is open)
