We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. A super cute place to stay, while it was just outside of the main town of Montepulciano, it was very peaceful and lovely home with plenty of character. Pier Luigi was a gracious host and even gave us welcome and departing gifts. We loved our stay here, Thank you Pier for your hospitality.

Vi bodde i huset i drygt två veckor och hade en fantastisk vistelse Huset är genomtänkt och har allt man vill ha Omgivningen är magisk och utsikten slående Poolen är stor, ny och rengörs flera gånger per vecka Valerio & Susan var toppen värdar och ordnade tom nya barn tillbehör för att göra vår vistelse ännu bättre (vi reste med barn 1 år & 5 år) Resturang tips och tips på utflykter i närheten var mycket bra, gjorde hela vår vistelse speciell Vi kommer gärna tillbaka

Beautiful Farmhouse. Lovely place even better in person. The grounds are large and lovely. Great pool. You look out to the town of Cortona from the bedroom and kitchen windows. So relaxing super close a 10 min drive to Cortona 30 mins to Montepulciano. A great base to explore. Host super responsive we were late checking in sure to train delays and it wasn’t a problem. Even got to experience some of Federica’s fabulous wine. Would come back for sure it’s a gem.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso a Casa di Tolfe a Città di Castello! La casa era impeccabilmente pulita, fornita di ogni comfort e incredibilmente calda, nonostante il freddo intenso all’esterno. Marco e Lorena si sono rivelati ospiti eccezionali: gentili, cordiali e sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. È stata un’esperienza bellissima, da consigliare assolutamente. Soggiorno al top!

La casa di Maria Cecilia e Luigi è esattamente quella dei sogni! Immersa nella natura, tranquilla, in un'oasi di pace dove poter ritrovare se stessi lontano dallo stress della città e ascoltare i rumori della natura....Abbiamo trascorso una settimana perfetta con i nostri tre pelosetti ( un cane e due gatti accolti benissimo dagli host💖) e la casa ci ha offerto tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Gli spazi sono quelli tipici di una splendida casetta in campagna, con le rose che ti accolgono all'entrata e le lucciole che ti salutano la sera nello splendido giardino con vista meravigliosa sulla campagna umbra. Ideale anche per smart working, per lavorare immersi nella tranquillità. Torneremo di certo, la casa Bargi ci manca gia moltissimo! 💖😍🦋 Grazie di cuore Cecilia e Luigi🙏

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

This place was very nice and beautiful, the scenery was breathtaking and the views were great. Facilities were well kept and it was very peaceful. The animals were also cute. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever been to.
