Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Petralona, Athens

Alex was amazing and super responsive to any questions we asked! We enjoyed staying at Alex's place immensely! It is close to the Acropolis museum and in a super walkable area. The area is also decently safe, even at night! Thanks Alex for everything!

The view alone made this. It was amazing to wake up and go to sleep looking at the Parthenon from your balcony. The penthouse was beautiful. Lots of space, you can spend time with your group or go to the separate floors and have your privacy as well. As I read in a previous review, it didn’t have a few things you usually get in an Airbnb to get you started, like coffee pods, a few detergent pods for the washer, things like that, but those are minor. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone that is heading to Athens and wants to be out of the main core. Bus and subway stops aren’t too far to get you where you need to go.

Die Gastgeberin ist eine super nette Person welche sich in der Gegend gut auskennt & Proaktiv Dinge vorschlägt dir aktuell in der Stadt passieren (z.B Konzerte o.ä.) Die Wohnung ist 4 U-Bahn Stopps entfernt von der Stadtmitte und ist fast direkt an der UBahn Station gelegen. In der nähe gibt es einige gute Restaurants, welche die Gastgeberin vorschlägt. Die Vorschläge waren bei unserem 4 Tägigen Aufenthalt perfekt! Vor allem weil lokales nicht Touristen Essen war. Die Terrasse ist sauber und gepflegt, jedoch liegt die Wohnung an einer Hauptverkehrstrasse und ist daher sehr laut. Aber das ist zu erwarten wenn man Urlaub in einer Grossstadt macht. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut geschnitten, mit 2 Klimas ausgestattet und ein gutes, auch wenn recht kleines, Badezimmer.

Ο χώρος ήταν άψογος. Ο κύριος Θάνος και η κυρία Κατερίνα ήταν πολύ βοηθητικοί. Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ όμορφο και cozy και η περιοχή ήταν πολύ ήσυχη ασφαλής. Σίγουρα θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε.

Anton was the most amazing host we’ve had in many years of traveling. He personally helped us find the apartment for easy check in, and was super communicative, always replying within minutes. His apartment had all amenities listed and more - snacks and drinks galore. His instructions on the apartment were very clear and detailed and we didn’t have anything we needed to ask him about. The apartment itself was spotless and very large for its location in the middle of the city. Two bedrooms for two couples, each with its own bathroom with all towels and bathroom supplies. We were able to access all major attractions within the city and many restaurants within 10-15min walk. It was a fantastic experience and we will definitely stay with him if we visit Athens again. Konstantinos is a fantastics host and his place is extremely cosy, well located in a nice, buzzy, safe area in the centre of Athens. The place feels very homely, it has all needed amenities and is located in a great area. There are so many shops, cafes, restaurants, literally just outside the building. It's located in walking distance from Athens' historical centre. The place has three working stations and great internet speed, making it ideal for people working remotely. Konstantinos was such a good host, always super communicative, thoughtful and accommodating. I would 100% recommend this place and Konstantinos as a host.

I would recommend Sam as a host. If we needed anything at all, he responded within an hour and was always happy to help. The apartment was spotless and very spacious. The location is also a short walk to the Nea Smyrni square (roughly 5 to 6 minutes), which is a very popular location with locals. There are lots of restaurants and bars there. The accommodation also enables swift access to the city centre and the beach on the opposite direction. Highly recommended.

Herkese tavsiye ederim, genel olarak kusursuz ve çok temizdi. İhtiyacımız okacak her şey vardı. Gösterildiği ve anlatıldığı gibiydi. Sadece, kültürden kültüre değişebilecek bir durum olsa da yerde ayakkabı izleri vardı ve bizim kültürümüzde ev içinde ayakkabıyla gezilmediği için biraz garip hissettirdi, bizler de ayakkabıyla gezmek zorunda kaldık. Eğer siz de alışık değşlsenize terlikle ya da ayakkabı ile gezmenizi tavsiye ederim, yalın ayak pek temiz olmayabilir. Bunun dışında her yer temiz ve kullanışlıydı. Sadece evden çıkıp camları kapattığınızda havalandıramadığınız için sıcak ya da havasız olabiliyor ama havalandırınca hızlıca bu sorun da çözülüyor. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Muhit güzel, metroya yakın. Yürüyerek istediğiniz yere gidebilirsiniz fakat metro varken gerek yok. Tekrar gelirsem yine tercih ederim

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Fotinis Unterkunft sehr genossen. Es gibt etliche Cafes, Restaurants und Supermärkte in nächster Nähe und auch Athens Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Trotzdem war es nachts sehr ruhig und wir fühlten uns rundum wohl. Das Apartment ist wunderschön eingerichtet, die Küche war mit allem Möglichen ausgestattet, verfügte über eine gemütliche Stube und alles war sehr sauber. Das Bett war auch sehr bequem. Ebenfalls haben wir uns über die Waschmöglichkeit und das Bügeleisen erfreut. Fotini hat uns sehr schnell geantwortet und hat uns nützliche sowie viele Infos vorab zugesendet. Der einzige „Minuspunkt“ war für uns die Dusche, da der Brausenhalter nicht verstellbar war und die Türe der Duschkabine nicht komplett geschlossen werden konnte. Dadurch haben wir einige Male das Duschhandtuch durchnässt. Darüber konnten wir jedoch gut hinwegsehen und würden sofort wiederkommen. :-)

Excellent apartment in a very upscale neighborhood but still walkable to all the touristy spots. Athina was excellent, very responsive and was very accommodating when our flight got delayed by a few hours. The apartment itself is HUGE with amazing furnishings and every amenity that you would need. A Carrefour is right across from the main door which helped a lot in getting the basics. Getting to and from the airport was seamless via a cab, but the Metro stop (Syntagma) is about an 8-10 min walk, if needed. We had an amazing stay and would without a doubt stay here again. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Athena with my partner and wow it was so cute!! The perfect place to stay! The host was beyond helpful and helped us check in and was there to show us around the accommodation and check if there was anything missing that we may need. He gave some nice recommendations for local places as we hadn’t visited before. The place was spotless and clean and overall just a beautiful design inside! I loved the fact there was even a mini gym downstairs! The only downside to this great place was the fact there was a school opposite so there were multiple bells that rang throughout the day and the kids could be quite noisy. If you plan to be out exploring during the day this would not be an issue We throughly enjoyed this place and our stay and would definitely recommend : )

I had a truly lovely stay at Daphne’s home. The house is extremely comfortable—every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the furnishings reflect a refined, aesthetic sensibility. The bedroom was wonderfully quiet, and I slept very well. I especially enjoyed the little patio, full of plants and flowers—a perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee. The location, in the Kypseli neighbourhood, was ideal. It’s a lively and characterful area with plenty of local shops, cafés, restaurants, and street artists. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Just across the road there’s a brilliant greengrocer selling fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and grains. There’s also a large, leafy park within easy walking distance—perfect for a morning run or a gentle stroll surrounded by greenery. The area is also well-connected. There’s a direct bus to Syntagma, the Acropolis, and other central sights. The metro is about a 20-minute walk away, and links you to the whole of Athens, including the airport.

Πολύ ωραίο διαμέρισμα όπως ακριβώς στις φωτογραφίες καθαρό περιποιημένο όλα ήταν άψογα κοντά σε συγκοινωνίες έχει κοντά τα πάντα σούπερ κλπ μας είχαν αφήσει νεράκια και είχε όλα τα απαραίτητα καφέ ζάχαρη αλάτι πράγμα πολύ εξυπηρετικό η γειτονιά ήσυχη όλα τέλεια και ο οικοδεσπότης μας ήταν άψογος αν και δεν χρειαστήκαμε κάτι γιατί είχε προνοήσει για όλα στις οδηγίες εισόδου εξόδου από το κατάλυμα μας άρεσε πάρα πολύ ήταν value for money σίγουρα θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε ευχαριστούμε που κάνατε το ταξίδι μας στην Αθήνα ακόμη πιο ωραίο 👏👏

Eξαιρετικη η διαμονη μας,αρχισε με πολυ ζεστη υποδοχη!ο χωρος ειναι αψογα εξοπλισμενος με οσα θα μπορουσε καποιος να χρειαστει κατα τη διαμονη του/της εκει!.Φωτεινος και ζεστος χωρος ,ανυπομονουμε να τον ζησουμε και χειμωνα με το ομορφο τζακι.ευχαριστουμε για ολα.Η οικοδέσποινα,η θέα,η φωτεινότητα,οι παροχές,είναι κάτι που θα θυμάμαι.Until next time..

Very cool and very nice place

We stayed here for just one night after returning from Naxos and before flying out the next morning, and it was absolutely perfect for that purpose. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable and the rooftop was amazing—such a great spot to relax after a long day! There’s also a fantastic, authentic Greek restaurant just around the corner, which meant we didn’t have to head back into the city center on our final night. Everything was smooth and easy—highly recommended for a short stay!

Το κατάλυμα ήταν πολύ όμορφο και καθαρό όπως ακριβώς στις φωτογραφίες. Η τοποθεσία του είναι πάρα πολύ βολική καθώς βρίσκεται σε ήσυχη περιοχή, πολύ κοντά στον ηλεκτρικό. Ο κύριος Δημήτρης ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευγενικός κι εξυπηρετικός καθόλη την διάρκεια της διαμονής μας, μας εξήγησε λεπτομερώς και τις παροχές του σπιτιού. Τον συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and my family and I had an incredible time staying over. We especially enjoyed how clean and nice the pool provided was. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Greece.

This place truly is a hidden gem of Athens - the view alone is PRICELESS! Konstantinos has put a lot of effort into creating an electric experience at his place. It’s very large, has everything you could think of needing, very comfortable bed and a view that is spectacular, day and night. Don’t skip this spot!

What can I say the apartment was lovely and George our host was amazing! Our first night we were sent dinner and some Beers! A lovely welcome. Given the time of year, George kindly dressed the apartment for the Christmas festivities, which was well received by the whole family. In terms of accessibility you can’t beat it. Five minutes to the metro station which is a super efficient way to travel around Athens. We would recommend staying here to anyone you won’t be disappointed! Thanks George and Happy New Year!!

Wäre am liebsten länger dort geblieben! Dieser Aufenthalt und besonders dieses Airbnb hat sich jede Sekunde ausgezahlt! Von der Gastfreundschaftlichkeit der Menschen Vorort aber auch die Unternehmungsmöglochkeiten waren mehr als besonders. Ich empfehle sich einen Roller oder Auto zu mieten und die Insel zu begutachten! Die Hauptstadt Athen war ebenfalls sehr einfach und preiswert zu erreichen. Eine Fahrt mit der Fähre auf welcher man die Umgebung einfach genießen kann und eine Fahrt durch die Straßen Athens mit dem Bus und man ist zum Beispiel bei der Acrapolis, Monastiraki. Würde das nächste Mal wieder dort hinkommen und noch mehr erkunden. Danke für alles !!

We had an amazing stay in Athens! We had a little trouble getting into the apartment and they came immediately to help us get in! Very responsive anytime we had a question or minor issue! They made this stay so incredible! The place was stunning and we truly wish we had more time here in Athens! They helped with local recommendations and were truly exceptional hosts! Will recommend again and again!
