Charming cottage in Cornwall near Perranporth

Lovely cottage, so quiet with comfortable beds and good quality linen and towels. The Italian restaurant across the road was delicious. We would stay again for sure.

Sycamore sanctuary

RichardRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The perfect place to escape, feel away from it all and do your own thing. If the room looks nice on the photos, wait 'till you get there - larger and even lovelier than expected with a homely, rustic and slightly bohemian feel, very much in keeping with the peaceful surroundings, tucked away in the corner of an orchard on a working farm. There are cupboards & small work top to make snacks/drinks inside and an outside covered cooking area downstairs with a dual gas stove and facilities provided so you can enjoy your own Keith Floyd outside cooking experience - so make sure to take a bottle or two! Despite also being outside, the adjacent toilet/shower facilities are spotlessly clean. You'd struggle to find a nicer more serene place to stay, the only downside is you don't feel you want to venture anywhere else (although Newquay/Perranporth are only a few minutes drive away if you do). Thanks to Claire and Jonny for making us feel so very welcome - look forward to seeing you again.x

This is a lovely place to stay, with a nice touch of Tea/Coffee/Sugar and even milk which was ready after a 4 hour drive, with a very comfortable bed! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The Hay Loft at Penwartha Barton.

LucyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
George and Chris instantly made us feel at home, they were really welcoming and were so easy to talk too. We really felt they were 'our kind' of people! They left us a wonderful little hamper style arrangement with milk, butter, sourdough, eggs and even a bottle of wine. The Hay Loft was absolutely spotless and has everything one needs. The quality of appliances and general finishing is of the highest quality. The kitchen is sublime, perfectly oriented, very considered and well laid out. The hot tub is the best we've ever encountered, huge and much more comfortable than normal. The bed is also incredibly comfortable, West End of LDN hotel standard, really very good indeed. The icing on the cake is the three wonderful dogs they have too, Tootsy, Inky and the crazy spaniel who's name evades me 😂 We would come back again 100%
