Beachfront holiday rental in Perranporth

Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

The Balcony Studio was the perfect getaway. It is a beautifully appointed stone cottage with stunning views overlooking the ocean. The cottage is steeped in history and has been beautifully renovated. It is spread over four half levels - you enter a well appointed kitchen, go down to the very large and unique bathroom, up to the bedroom with sitting area, and up again to a small living room and WC. The layout to the bedroom is very clever, with the bed facing the windows, but far enough back to be completely private when the blinds are up and the windows are open. I loved sitting in the chairs overlooking the water. Even with people walking by under the balcony, it feels very private. The location is fabulous - just steps to restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries of St Ives. The walk from the train was maybe 5-6 minutes. I loved my stay and would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lisa’s cottage,It’s location is perfect for walking into St Ives and the car park. The cottage was exactly as described with a comfortable bed nice bathroom with hot shower and lounge area for relaxing after a hard day on the beach. Would definitely book again.

Absolutely stunning! spent a week here and it's the loveliest little spot, small but perfectly sized for 2 and a dog. Absolutely lovely host, left little treats for us on arrival and had recommendations in the area but also not intrusive. The cottage itself is perfect, so homey and had everything we could need. we used the log burner every evening while playing one of the board games provided and it was so cozy and nice. The area is absolutely wonderful, beautiful views, path right down to the beach, and so many lovely walks right of the door, we did the majority of our daily outings as a straight walk from the cottage and watched the sunset from the beach each night. the photos really do not do this place justice, it is truly absolutely stunning and we would LOVE to return !

An easy five minute walk to The Minack so perfect for our theatre trip. Driftwood was clean, comfortable and attractive with fabulous views out to sea.We needed to email the housekeeping team one evening regarding a flickering spotlight bulb in the kitchen. Verity responded really quickly and sorted the next day.

Chris and Geoff were great hosts and very friendly. Flat was as described, had everything we needed and in a great location. Added bonus was a little visit from Gizmo the cat after leaving the flat door open one morning! We would recommend staying with Chris and Geoff.

We had an amazing time for the short time we were staying. It was a beautiful home. The beach was beautiful and an easy short walk into the town. We will def book and stay again!! Thank you!!

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mary’s beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations the location was incredible, only a short and beautiful walk into the town. Next to the best beach. Every room was very clean and had everything we needed. Mary was very help helpful and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend. Made a special birthday just perfect.

It was so lovely to arrive ,open the door and be wowed by the place , it was comfortable and clean and Susanne had left some nice treatsfor us .she was available to contact for any questions and very friendly ,i would definately recomend her

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

We were visiting Perranporth to visit family who lived locally. The property was ideal . The kitchen was well equipped with double oven, fridge & freezer dishwasher etc. A lovely dining room, comfortable lounge and the conservatory provided magnificent views across the village and bay to the golf course opposite. There were also tables and chairs strategically situated in the garden to take advantage of the sun as well as proving good viewing points. For anyone wishing to park up and use local transport the bus stop for busses to Newquay and Truro were a few steps away. The village with cafes, pubs and beach on the doorstep. Miranda provided excellent information regarding location of the premises , how t access the property and making use of the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in the house.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Anna’s cliff top chalet. It is set in a perfect location and was clean, tidy and as described. The perfect spot for a couple of quiet nights away! 😃

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing few days and highly recommend staying here. The location is so peaceful, with stunning panoramic views of the Helford River. The boathouse interior is well equipped with modern decor, as well as touches inspired by the older boathouse it was modeled after. The highlight for us was the easy access to the waterfront and use of the kayaks. If you enjoy paddling across the river in the late afternoon and unwinding with a cozy cup of tea at sunset, this is the ideal place.

Tidy little home within walking distance of the beach and all the local shops. He’s supplied us with everything you could possibly need during your stay there!.😊 The best part is the wonderful couple who run the tea room downstairs. So lovely and warm and came out to personally instruct us on the slightly challenging parking space downstairs.

Can’t say how happy we were when we arrived here! Perfect location , great hosts and a spotless, beautifully decorated modern home! Great space for our family to spend some lovely time together, including a fully enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking in Perranporth! Everything you need right on your doorstep within a few minutes walking distance! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind! Thank you so much Stephen and family we will be back soon xx

Absolutely fabulous apartment. Great location. Large balcony with view of the beach and sea. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. Lots of handy little touches that are sometimes overlooked such as cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, washing detergent, hand-wash and even some ice in the freezer. Good layout for privacy if travelling in a group with the bedrooms either end of the hall. One ensuite and one with bathroom next to it. Right in the centre of Perranporth so shops/cafes/restaurants all within a couple of mins walk. Really easy self check in with very clear instructions. I would highly recommend Felix’s place!
