Monthly Rentals in Pennines

What a lovely, cosy little place. It had everything we could have possibly needed; somewhere to store the bikes, a kitchen, 2 showers, a living area and comfy beds. Sarah was very friendly too and offered a lift into Alston should we need it. There were lovely little extra touches too, like board games, wi-fi, chocolate and fresh eggs from the chickens next door. Price was fantastic too! Will definitely be coming back to stay.

Absolutely wonderful place. If you want peace and off grid, this ticks all the boxes. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped and the views are stunning. As a solo female traveller I also felt completely safe. It’s probably not for you if you’re not a confident driver or need to be near amenities, but for me with wonderful walks from the doorstep, it’s just perfect. This was my second visit, there will be a third and even a fourth! Thanks

A lovely stay here, great base for exploring the Lake District national park and we made the most of our two nights! Keswick is not far so we did catbells (again, it’s just one of my favourites) and we got up in the middle of the night to go climb Blencathra for the sunrise this morning! Always drive home planning our next trip back to the lakes and would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Comfortable, clean, Martin was so helpful with instructions and the flat had everything we could need. We fell in love with the farm cats and the cutest calves! Thanks ever so much Martin

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. Amanda greeted us on arrival and showed us around but there’s a self-check in option available too. The place is very cozy and quiet. There’s sheep at the doorstep and there were little lambs at this time of the year. At night we could hear an owl, really nice. Amanda gave us some great recommendations for the area and was always responsive if we needed anything. The place has everything you need to feel right at home. There’s games, books and extra blankets. The bed was very comfortable and lots of space for clothes, luggage, etc. We only stayed for a few days but we throughly enjoyed the place. Special mention to the spa/bath tub which was blissful. There was tea/coffee and biscuits available on arrival. Free parking IN the cottage too so no fussing around looking for where to park. The nearby town has a supermarket and a petrol station plus some tiny local shops. Highly recommenced to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful and calm.
