Monthly Rentals in Penang Island

Shi's place was a nice stay. The unit is good size, and is very well equipped. There are a few restaurants and cafes around, with a nice grocery store across the street. It is technically within walking distance of Gurney and Quayside, but with the weather I only did those walks in the evening when it's cooler. Otherwise I took Grab. A few downsides, as others have mentioned, the building has lots of Airbnb's and the lifts can become quite busy. Also the unit is a few stories above the pool, which can be a bit noisy in the mornings if you are a later sleeper.

We stayed in Christine's apartment for about a month and it is the 2nd time we did and again another excellent one. The apartment is within a highend property complex and well maintained. Strait Quay is a very nice residential area with supermarket and restaurants. It's very easy to get into the old heritage town by Grab or even by public buses. Christine is a very best host, responsible, reliable, efficient and friendly. Thank you Christine!

Great location! Walkable distance to gurney bay (in my opinion), I did walk to my work place. Clear instructions from Charles. I am really appreciate that Charles actually stayed up till 4am to wait for me. (Check-in). Great place and definitely will stay again during next trip here in Penang. Thank you!

Let me begin with the host—Joyce. She is an excellent host—responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She promptly answered all my questions with kindness and has an in-depth knowledge of every detail of the unit. The apartment is clean, quiet, and conveniently located near shops and food courts. It is comfortable, offers beautiful views of the hills, and is well-equipped with everything you might need, including a convenient hot and cold water filtration system. Additionally, the building features an amazing gym and a swimming pool on the 6th floor. If given the chance, we would love to stay here again. However, with so many great reviews about both the host and the apartment, availability might be a challenge!
