Almost, Almost Heaven was truly like a little slice of Heaven. The scenery outside is beautiful. Inside is open, clean and very spacious. The hosts have truly thought of everything in all the fine details such as the motion activated night lights and having everything labeled and precise, clear instructions. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a quiet peaceful home away from home.

My wife and I had a blast! There were plenty of places to eat and lots of hiking opportunities. We hiked cascade falls which was moments away and spent plenty of time relaxing and enjoying the little river that runs along the property! And can I mention how beautiful the stars were? If the moon had been new, I know we would have seen the Milky Way. We'll be back!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location offers a perfect blend of peace and quiet amidst beautiful nature, while still providing easy access to Virginia Tech. I especially enjoyed being so close to Heritage Park, which was a real bonus. My host was incredibly kind and helpful, always answering my questions promptly and making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene getaway with convenient access to the VT campus and local attractions.

Great little spot! Our favorite part was sitting on the porch listening/watching the train go by. The Palisades Restaurant next door was yummy. It was the perfect location for us. Definitely want to come back to the area.
