Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Alueella voi uida, kalastaa, marjastaa, metsästää, patikoida, hiihtää, lumikenkäillä ja moottorikelkkailla. Lisää liikuntapaikkoja ja muita käyntikohteita 15-30 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Idyllinen pieni saunallinen hirsimökki lammen rannalla. Ekologinen mökki sijaitsee lähellä hiljaista tietä, mutta silti omassa rauhassaan. Voit nähdä sään salliessa revontulet omalta pihalta, sekä tavata pohjoisen eläimiä kuten oravan, poron tai jäniksen. Sijaitsee noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä luonnonkauniissa pienessä kylässä. Huskysafareita talvella vain parin minuutin päässä. Nivankylä village is located 10km from Rovaniemi city centre. Our place is almost hidden by the trees in local village. Here you can spend your holidays in your own peace. Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This traditional Lappish log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Night at the Bearhillhusky kennel! Heat the sauna, swim in the lake and relax in the hot tub! The traditional wood heated sauna offers you a gentle experience into the finnish sauna culture. The cabin has a rowing boat, coal grill and an outdoor eco toilet to crown the traditional wilderness cabin feeling. The double bed and outdoor jaquzzi bring the luxorious feel to the place, and the private shore with a pier where you can sit and enjoy the calm nature around you.

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.
