10/2024 completed log villa on the private shore of the Tornionjoki River. From the balcony and terrace, a magnificent and idyllic view of the lake on the Swedish side. Here you can stay in peace even with a larger group. The ski trails start just a few hundred meters away. Ylläs and Rovaniemi are about 100 km away. The nearest store is just over 6 km away. The Travelpello website provides information on the activities organized by companies in the area. Such as Ritavaara Ski Resort SoulMate Huskies and Johka Reindeer Farm and Northern Lights Safaris.

Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

There is a wide selection of winter activites arranged near by like (reindeer farms, snow mobile tours etc.) and the location is less than an hour drive from bigger attractions (Rovaniemi, Santa Claus village, ski resorts). In the summer there are SUP-boards you can use for free and a wood heated grill. Nearby is also a nature trail called Sompasen luontopolku.

An atmospheric studio holiday home amidst the trees by a beautiful lake. The cottage has a cottage (25m2), a sauna and a bathroom. A kitchenette, fireplace, TV, dining table, two beds, a small couch, and an armchair. Table and chairs on the outdoor veranda. You can swim, fish, berry, hunt, hike, ski, snowshoe and snowmobile in the area. More gyms and other places to visit within a 15-30 minute drive. I am happy to be flexible with check-in and check-out whenever possible.

Modern cottage in your own peace.

A detached cottage in its own peace on a lake between two large lakes. Own shoreline over half a kilometer. The village has a reindeer farm and an organizer of husky and snowmobile safaris. Both are family businesses, where service is key. And not far away is a frisbee golf course that meets the official requirements for summer and winter use (about 14 km away at Airijärventie 108, currently an 18-hole course in the woods and on the rocks).
