Built in 1965, the house (3 rooms, kitchen, sauna, toilet) is located in Finnish Lapland in the peaceful village of Kaukosen, close to nature in Kittilä. Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the destination is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation

Our home is a new family house on the riverside of the Kemijoki, 12 km from Rovaniemi. The house is in a scenic and spacious yard. We have all modern facilities. The house has automatic heating and air conditioning. Sauna, bathroom, free WIFI, washer/dryer, dishwasher, induction stove/oven, fireplace, etc. We have a large terrace facing the river. There is an open garage with a socket for the winter motor heating. House is excellent for families with children to enjoy different activities.

Saunamökin kuistilta näkymä metsään päin. Vesijohtoa ei ole, vesiastiat ovat täytettynä tullessasi. Tilava sauna. Grillikota käytössäsi (noin 50 metriä mökistä). A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only 25 meters to the water. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and washing water in sauna is taken from the sweet water lake.

Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.
