Friendly staff and beautiful place to stay

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and sauna were really great and it was very relaxing. The lock is a bit difficult to open but after a few times you have it out. The two cats are super cute and intimate, we really loved it. Big plus for the bedding, which was super fluffy and cozy. We will be happy to come back!

We spent one night in Jockfall, the accommodation is beautiful, recent, well isolated, comfortable and very well-equipped. However, be careful to take the price of surcharges into account from the start. We'll be happy to go back! Good restaurant in a beautiful setting. Thanks to the Jockfall team 😊

Beautiful remote log cabin in the utmost tranquility in the middle of the Nordic forest. Everything important for a pleasant stay was available. Fireplace and sauna also contributed to the feeling of well-being. Recommendation!

This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

The cottage was functional and tidy. The grill house and a lot were a nice touch. The sauna should have been bigger, it could only accommodate two adults at a time. Communication was easy.

Very great place, we were really super satisfied and had everything you need to feel comfortable!

Our Christmas stay was truly magical! The location was perfect, with snow-covered landscapes and an unforgettable view of the Northern Lights. The added bonus of a sauna made the experience even more special. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing kick sleds for the kids, which they absolutely loved. Everything was perfect—exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

The house and host are just amazing. We arrived after a very long day of travelling in a warm cosy place and immediately felt at home. Everything you could wish for is thought of. If we would ever come back to Lapland we will have to come back to Harri's place as everything else will be a disappointment. Thanks Harri for everything!

It was a very pleasant stay at Alexey's cabin. The accommodation has everything listed and is very comfortable. The only thing to note is that sometimes access by car can be difficult, but the machines remove the snow periodically.

The cabin exactly matched the description. Messaging with Jari went quickly and effortlessly. The lot was wonderfully preheated and she would have brought more trees to us if needed. The cottage was clean and we found everything we needed.

We had a great stay at Aapo's place. The location directly on the Baltic Sea coast in conjunction with the barbecue hut and sauna is unique. The property is very well equipped. Aapo was flexible with our need for a crib and provided us with flexibility - thank you for that. We 100% recommend the place.

The cottage matched the description and was in a quiet location. It was easy to find and the cottage road was in good condition. The beach meets the Simojoki river at a suitable point, when there was a calm flow. After swimming, it was nice to go to the gentle steam of the sauna 🙂

The two hosts are extremely kind and make you feel at home. The cottage is stocked with everything you might need. The sauna is an extraordinary plus, equipped with everything. The place is enchanting, in absolute peace, with a breathtaking view perfect for observing the aurora.

Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely weekend at this cabin. Therese was very kind and even helped us find the northern lights! Located in a small, quiet community which had a few stores and restaurants within 15 mins drive, this cozy place is well worth your time and money, would love to come back someday!

Really beautiful cottage surrounded by the forest. Space was cosy, and really comfortable. Nearest supermarket and food option is 6km away, but the location makes this slight inconvenience worth it. The only thing as mentioned by others, is the lack of wifi in the home. Would have been perfect if there was that. If you're lucky, you may even catch the northern lights just outside the cottage! Met Airi when I left and she was very lovely.

We had a great time at Villa Alveus with the family! The cottage is well located, close to the city center, and is very functional (full amenities). Comfortable bedding and sauna, very nice after long days spent in the cold. The view from the stay is breathtaking, snowy forest view. The hosts were responsive and gave us Finnish chocolate when we arrived, a lovely thought. A beautiful and magical area of Finland! We only want to go back as soon as possible! We recommend it without a second thought!!!

I had an incredible time at Riitta’s charming cabin. She welcomed us warmly, allowed an early check-in, and explained everything about the cabin, sauna, and activities. The cabin was small and simple, yet comfortable, with a cozy bed, warm blankets, and a window offering a stunning sky view. Heating is wood-fired (lasting ~3 hours), the bathroom is outside, and there’s no electricity (Riitta can lend lanterns). Bring your own food—there’s a gas stove, cookware, and a 5L water container provided. We were lucky to witness two nights of breathtaking Northern Lights, watching them dance across the sky and even falling asleep with the aurora visible through the window—truly magical! The sauna was another highlight: a traditional Finnish experience with optional cold dips and hot water baths. You can also snowshoe, ski, sled, or enjoy a cozy barbecue with equipment provided by Riitta. Everything was exceptional! Thank you, Riitta, for the kindness and unforgettable memories.

Mari was a top host. She herself is not present at the arrival, but will welcome you via message and give you the code with which you can enter a few hours before arrival. In this way it immediately felt like your own personal cottage. The cottage was very clean, also completely our style. It has been worked on with very durable material, which really makes it feel like luxury. The beautiful high windows are really a plus. The view from the cottage is beautiful! Our stay was very pleasant. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The house offers a fantastic view of the surrounding forest. There are numerous exciting hiking trails and activities in the area that will delight nature and outdoor lovers. A special highlight was the sauna. Perfect for relaxing after an active day. Highly recommended for a relaxing and varied holiday!

Beautiful riverside cottage, quiet and peaceful. Far from the city but with activities possible by car in the surrounding area. Indoor sauna, outdoor grill, snowshoes available, as well as sleds. Welcoming and attentive host. We had a wonderful stay!
