Really nice stay near Colchester. Would recommend.

We stayed for 8 nights and had a great experience. It was myself, my boyfriend, and our friend, we were there to create content for our BBQ business. A lovely stay in an idyllic location. Spotless room, well equipped and nice and quiet. They are dog friendly, which suited us well. Friendly reception from the owner Sam and helpful info about the area given. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved staying in west mersea at Jill's place. We visited for our 6 year anniversary and we're welcomed to a sweet card and a drink from Jill, left out for us in the kitchen. It was such a great stay. Jill is a wonderful host and such lovely touches in the rooms, everything thought-out so well, from kitchenware to two player games, and extensive info about the local area and spots to visit. The location was perfect, walkable to the beach and local restaurants and pubs. Short drive from the vineyard a d lovely beautiful spots. The island is just magic, the community feel is lovely and friendly. Will 💯 be visiting again and definitely staying with Jill - thanks so much xx
