Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Peebles

As many have said this is a lovely place to stay, it has real charm and character you can almost imagine the people that have called this home over its long history. It’s appropriately decorated and furnished in a style fitting its heritage yet still has all the modern conveniences that we love. Situated at the opening to a beautiful park it was just perfect for our dog, it’s also only a 10 minute stroll into the town for restaurants etc. Sam was the perfect host, very responsive and helpful with recommendations. I would highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay

we had a great couple of nights stay, daughter suffers with anxiety and austim, so it was nice and peaceful. time for me to just relax. weather was great so big bonus as got to sit in garden and chill

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our toddler especially loved exploring outside and had a great time running around the old Kirk next door. A lovely, peaceful spot—we’d definitely stay again!

Lovely cottage, met our needs perfectly for a two night stay. Was nice to be able to have a peaceful walk along the river Nith almost from the doorstep and we particularly enjoyed the garden, what a lovely sunny spot.

Loved it here, gardens were in full bloom and glorious to spend time wandering around. I found the home very comfortable, and we were very well catered for. Breakfast was fab and the facilities provided all we could have needed.

We had a lovely short stay at the Old Schoolhouse. House was just as pictured on the site and felt really homely and comfortable and Treacle loved the back garden. We would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful little cottage and when I say Liz has thought of everything I’m not kidding , a real home from home vibe. Liz is clearly in tune with what people need when they are travelling around . Fresh milk and pastries was so so wonderful too after a very long journey. I would highly recommend and I don’t say this lightly or without reason ever x

We had a lovely stay at Eyemouth holiday park in the caravan. The location is fantastic, short walk to Eyemouth beach and loads to do in the area. Kerr responded quickly to any of our questions and was really helpful. I’d definitely come back.

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 8. Great location with many restaurants in the area. Easy access to bus service for city center. Facilities had everything we needed. Perfect place.

Lauras directions and communications were spot on. Despite the caravan not being new it was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Facilities on site were good. Lots of lovely walks available without takimg the car. Its a great base for exploring the solway coast..

Jacqui was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and so helpful and kind felt at home and so comfortable the place was spotless the hot-tubs were placed perfectly and got your own privacy with beautiful views. 10/10 will be back

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! Absolutely perfect. Not a single thing you could want for…..every need is catered for. Loved the welcome package of bread, spreads and the most delicious fudge ever. Beautiful location. An absolute gem in the forest. Loved our stay. Fabulously presented.

Absolutely loved our stay, would definitely stay again. We love Peebles and this place was in the perfect location, so peaceful and very comfortable.

Stayed here for our annual friends trip. We are both history nuts so went to Linlithgow Palace, Edinburgh Castle and town, Palace of Holyrood and Roslin Chapel which were all less than an hours drive from the airb&b. Will & Henrietta’s place is beautiful, set on the estate with the old brickwork. It’s a lovely mix of modern with vintage charm inside. The conservatory was my favourite place especially for my morning coffee and was a great retreat once we got back from a busy day out. Everything was clean and tidy with instructions where necessary. Unfortunately, didn’t get to meet our hosts but they were on hand for anything we needed. We arrived very late at night as drove from North London so found it a little difficult to find, however this was mainly down to it being dark. Have suggested for instructions to be provided in case of anyone else coming late at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it felt very homely and was the peaceful escape we both needed.

We were three adults, retirement age, in the Borders for the Melrose Sevens Rugby tournament, and stayed 6 nights. Dairy Cottage was a really excellent choice of accommodation, equipped with everything we could need, and really comfortable. The setting - in the grounds of an estate with a "grand house" - was delightful: green woodland with what seems like miles of paths and loops for limitless choices of walks. The gardens are really well-kept and tended, and the lake is beautiful. No doubt it is a great habitat for all sorts of wildlife, and indeed I have never heard such LOUD and varied birdsong! It's a very short walk (typically 6 minutes for me) into Selkirk town, where we patronised 5 different places for evening meals, all of which were very good. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I like the kitchen and cooked 3 dinners there. It would however be great if they can put some condiments in the kitchen as travellers usually don’t carry those with them…

We were only passing through Moffat and arrived later than expected so didn’t have much time to enjoy. Had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. Ideally situated, about a one minute walk to the centre of town. Would highly recommended.
