Cottage holiday rentals in Peebles

Lakeside Cottage is beautiful, peaceful, steeped in history & easy to access once you know where it is, we drove past it 3 times lol. We were greeted with gorgeous fresh flowers in each room & a very tasty bottle of prosecco. Most Definitely will be going back at some point in the near future & can't recommend it enough as a quiet getaway - listening to the river Ayr was blissful!!

Incredible views around Elie, the coast and golf course. The property is highly specced and we could not be happier with our visit. Fiona provides clear instructions on how to access the property. Will definitely be back!!

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

I had a lovely weekend in Dawn and Darren’s wonderful cottage! It was clean and spacious, with great amenities . The added bonus of having a wood fire hot tub outside is fantastic! The cottage is in a lovely area for getting into nature, only a 10 minute walk to Loch Leven! Dawn was great to communicate with, very helpful and generous Will be back to visit again!

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

We had a fantastic time at The Stables celebrating our rescue greyhound’s fifth birthday - she got to run around happily in the enclosed garden whilst we enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco in the hot tub!Secluded location, relaxing and everything you could need thought of by Paul & Fiona. Highly recommend!

Kirsty greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and very helpful. The coach house was in a lovely private setting with some lovely grounds around it, Kirsty gave us some very useful information regarding our trip to Edinburgh the following day, the place was better than the pictures made it look and very comfortable. We have already said this will be a place we will use again for future trips to Scotland

First of all can I just say what a beautiful cottage this is, you certainly will not be disappointed. We had a fantastic week here beginning with the lovely welcome gifts left by Kate. We made full use of the opportunity to walk our dog across the farm and the surrounding area, he loved it. Far enough away for a complete relaxing get away, but close enough to all the attractions of central Scotland to fill your days. We fully intend to return next year. Thank you

Such a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Beautiful views and a fantastic garden. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could want for. Pittenweem and surrounding towns were perfect to explore with loads of walks and great local shops. Dawn was great, really responsive and very helpful.

Just returned home from a lovely stay in the amazing Bartlehill Cottage. Absolutely spotlessly clean and even nicer than the photos. The garden is beautiful and the woodland walk was perfect for our lively terriers! The cottage is so well equipped and lots of thought has been given to supplying pretty much everything you may need. Furnishings and bedding are super quality and very comfortable. Lowri is the most perfect host, helpful and very responsive to messages. It was our first visit to Northumberland and the Scottish Borders and we'll definitely be returning to Bartlehill to do some more exploring!

We were only passing through Moffat and arrived later than expected so didn’t have much time to enjoy. Had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. Ideally situated, about a one minute walk to the centre of town. Would highly recommended.

What a special place! We felt well taken care of but with the privacy we needed. Glen was available and helpful for anything we needed, and had great suggestions for things to do and see. We'd gladly come back again!

We had such a lovely break at this beautiful home. The place was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and filled with natural light – it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed (and more!) was provided, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. As a special touch, we were warmly welcomed with freshly baked bread and scones, which went down an absolute treat – such a thoughtful gesture! Probably the best Air B&B we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! Fabulous scenery with wildlife outside your door. Welcome pack included roses, wine and the best home made lemon drizzle cake we’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately we had to leave a couple of days early due to my health, but we will be back at some stage, that’s for sure.

We stayed at Hayley's place for a couple of nights to break up a long journey home from the outer hebrides. The home is really tastefully designed and decorated and we felt relaxed and comfortable from the moment we walked through the door. The one issue we did have was resolved immediately for ys us. Thanks Hayley for a lovely place.

This is a stunning, peaceful and really lovely place to stay. Set in beautiful surroundings with all that the Borders has to offer in terms of scenery and nature and yet close to the nearby towns with great pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and people. The annex is clean, welcoming, well equipped, comfortable and homely with everything you could need...a home away from home. Nice little touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, tea and coffee await you. Harry was really responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations and advice. We especially loved the conservatory and private garden. Thank you very much for a fabulous stay.

A lovely retreat in a perfect location, right on the doorstep of beautiful picturesque countryside. Stuart was on hand to greet us and make us feel welcome and giving us a guided tour of the property.

Loved our stay at middle cottage. We were on a golfing trip and Gullane, North Berwick and Kilspindie were all less than 20 minutes drive. Location was superb on the edge of East Linton village. Furnishings and linens were great! We felt right at home. It is clear Jan and Bryan have gone to a lot of trouble to welcome their guests. We were very comfortable despite the disappointing weather. (Sadly too inclement to enjoy the garden). The TPE train from East Linton to Edinburgh takes only 18 or 19 minutes which is so much quicker than driving.

What a gem of a place for 2 people, we found it on a last minute search, and we feel so lucky we did! The Bothy is beautiful, set in a secluded, quiet setting with a great size garden and private parking place. The interior is very tasteful, very clever how the space has been utilised, we felt at home as soon as we entered. We had no need to use the log burner (a basket of logs provided) as the heating was great but it would be a lovely option in the autumn/winter. We had been left milk, butter, bread, jam, fruit, tea, coffee & sugar, a lovely touch, and much appreciated, especially when you forget to take certain items. The kitchen is very well equipped (washing machines tablets, kitchen roll etc) as stated. The bathroom was a great size, lovely towels and toiletries provided. The bed was very comfortable with quality bedding, a lovely light spacious area. We can’t wait to return, highly recommend!

This little cottage was perfect to get away from it all The drive up is a little treacherous but instructions make it easy to find The cottage was really peaceful and out of the way We were able to go on a long walk straight from the cottage and walked down to the pub a few times with a super quick drive to other walks and services in Peebles. Inside the cottage was cosy and ideal to come back to after a long day.
