Holiday rentals with lake access in Passignano sul Trasimeno

By the famous lakeshore surrounded by nature and close to multiple known cities, including Perugia and Cortona. The host is a very friendly welcoming person and always responsive. A highly recommended place with a very special remarkable experience.

We enjoyed Silvia‘s paradise on the hills of Umbria. The surroundings are amazing and our apartment was rustic and simply wonderful. Our kids absolutely loved playing outside with Silvia‘s family‘ pets. The pool area is beautiful as well and we would have loved to use it more had the weather been better. We took a pasta class with Alberto and all four of us enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and are eager to apply our newly found knowledge about making delicious pasta. Finally, we appreciated the tips about the area and were especially impressed by medieval Gubbio! We definitely want to come back and hopefully, will bring our extended family with us next time.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit 9 Freunden. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und ist sehr hochwertig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich war wunderschön und grün. Ein toller Pool und viel Platz ganz für sich alleine. Alles exakt wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern gezeigt. In der Nähe sind mit dem Auto viele schöne und günstige Restaurants erreichbar. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Amanda war sehr freundlich und war immer schnell erreichbar bei Fragen.

Para valorar esta propiedad, hay que empezar por el ANFITRIÓN, un profesional en toda regla. Desde el minuto 0 de la reserva, hasta la salida; siempre atento, muy amable y muy profesional. Es un placer conocer gente seria y esto la da un valor a la aplicación. La beach house, es un paraíso en Italia. Fácil acceso, cuidado al detalle, paz, naturaleza, comodidad. Nuestro viaje era en familia con nuestros dos caniches y creo que fueron los que más disfrutaron de la propiedad, verlos correr y saltar por las zonas verdes de la propiedad y convivir con muchas aves, conejos no tiene precio. Nuestra hija disfrutó su estancia estudiando y con la paz y tranquilidad del lugar, no le costó nada concentrarse. Nosotros en cambio, hicimos turismo por la zona, todo muy cerca y bien comunicado por carretera. Es una propiedad muy cuidada, segura y sobretodo disfrutar de sus puesta de sol, sentado en una tumbona, disfrutando de un buen vino (de la zona) es una experiencia irrepetible. Gracias Maurizio.

Vi havde en fantastisk uge i Casa Trasimonte, hvor vi nød huset, poolen, terrassen og udsigten. Huset er rigt udstyret, så vi spiste en del hjemme. Vi spiste også på den lokale restaurant Lo Scoliotto, hvor udsigten og maden er god. I Tuoro spiste vi med flot udsigt over søen. Selve Largo Trasimeno var lidt af en skuffelse. Ikke at se på (virkelig smuk), men ikke indbydende ift. at bade i. Vi løb gode ture i bjergene omkring huset, og mødte en smuk dyrediversitet. Alt i alt en stor anbefaling fra os.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem absolut niedlichen Haus, das inmitten atemberaubender Natur liegt. Die Ruhe ist einzigartig – man hört nur das Zwitschern der Vögel, und hin und wieder zeigen sich Rehe am Waldrand. Einfach magisch! Der Pool war top gepflegt und man hatte richtig Ruhe. Ein echtes Highlight war für uns die Küche: So liebevoll eingerichtet und außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet – das haben wir so noch nie erlebt! Der Gasherd und der hochwertige Backofen haben das Kochen zu einem Vergnügen gemacht. Gastgeber Diego war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich bei ihm sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein perfekter Rückzugsort für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und liebevolle Details zu schätzen wissen.

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

We hebben een geweldige week gehad in het huis van Silvia. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons echt thuis. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis op het meer is schitterend en de zonsondergangen zijn magisch. Het huis zelf is oprecht van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden liggen heerlijk, de badkamers zijn perfect en de keuken is zeer uitgebreid. Verder valt ook op dat alles echt super schoon en netjes is. Er is veel tijd en moeite in gestoken om alles perfect te hebben. De omgeving is natuurlijk schitterend. Je hebt het prachtige meer in je achtertuin, maar je zit ook zo in Toscane. Er is dus meer dan genoeg te zien en doen. Silvia is verder een ontzettend fijne en aardige host. De communicatie verloopt heel prettig en snel en ze stuurt voor je aankomst al een hele uitgebreide uitleg en tips. En als er vragen tussendoor zijn staat ze direct voor je klaar. We hopen ooit nog een keer terug te komen.

We had an amazing stay at Alessandro’s and Sonja’s place. They helped a lot with very good recommendations for local restaurants and things to see and do around. The apartment was very clean and cute, even though it was quite moist probably due to lower temperatures in May. For the summer months we can imagine it it is very cooling and perfect for sleeping. We can highly recommend the Castello and would always come back ☺️

Hostess was easy to work with. Small studio but really updated and a pleasure to stay in. I will stay again in this studio. Plenty of heating and strong internet. It is right on the walking path around the lake and so enjoyable to step out of the studio and take a walk.

We had a great stay at the Abbey. The natural surroundings are beautiful and it has a spectacular view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting outside under the olive trees and using the bbq area.

Posto stupendo in mezzo alla natura, silenzioso e rilassante. Si sente solo il rumore degli uccelli e della calma intorno. La casa è super comoda, c’è tutto quello che serve. I host sono stati davvero gentili, rispettosi e super amichevoli. È il posto perfetto per staccare e stare bene.

The apartment is very nice, clean, well-equipped, and located in the centre of Montepulciano (with possibilities to have breakfast nearby). We would definitely recommend it!

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questa oasi nei pressi di Castiglione sul lago. Struttura splendida tenuta in maniera perfetta da Maurizio, host sempre presente e mai invadente; ci ha dato consigli utili su come e cosa fare nei dintorni. Splendida la piscina dove i bimbi si sono divertiti (e anche noi), spazio verde in abbondanza da poter sfruttare come si vuole, dal gioco alla grigliata. Posizione strategica per raggiungere diverse mete tra Umbria e Toscana. Consiglio vivamente a chi vuole venire a visitare quei luoghi di soggiornarci.

Thoroughly enjoyed bbq-ing at the picnic table in the private garden with view of Montelpuciano Lake and striking ever-changing color sunsets, while our dog happily pranced on the daisy covered grass. The place was better in person than in the website photos, clean and very cozy. It has complete kitchen utensils, a cabinet full of variety of wine glasses, and nice the pellet fireplace. We appreciate Susi's generosity and attention to details. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bouquet of fresh flowers, and olive oil from her garden. She was quick in responding and provided good info for nearby attractions. Susi is so cheerful and caring. This made our 17 day stay there a warm and wonderful experience. And oh... our dog loooovvvveees her too. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it is a great romantic place for quiet and relaxation.

Paolo and Monica are among the kindest hosts we’ve ever met. Paolo went above and beyond—arranging e-bike tours, dinner reservations, and always showing up with a smile. The homemade breakfast was the best of our two-week trip—especially the almond and cherry cakes! The most unforgettable part was Monica and her animals. Watching her with her “children” was more touching than a falconry experience we once paid hundreds for. Her love and connection with them is something truly special. As Paolo humbly said, this may not be the picture-perfect Tuscan scene from the movies—but if you’re seeking warmth, connection, and authenticity, this is the place. It’s not about sweeping views (though the pool area has one)—it’s about heart. There are two cottages: the red one is attached to their home and cozy; the larger one is down the hill and more private. Either way, you’ll feel cared for in a way that’s rare and unforgettable.

Wir haben die schöne Unterkunft und den großen, grünen Außenbereich sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf den See ist umwerfend und man kann ungestört seinen Urlaub verbringen, da es keine direkten Nachbarn gibt. Die Casetta ist gut ausgestattet mit allen nötigen Utensilien, die man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Frühstück oder Mittagessen haben wir immer gern auf der angrenzenden Terrasse unter dem schönen Blauregen genossen. Man sollte Essen allerdings nicht offen herumstehen lassen, da es Ameisen gibt. Im nicht weit entfernten Dorf hat man verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurantoptionen, und auch andere Orte sind gut und schnell erreichbar durch die nahe Anbindung zur Autobahn. Ein Höhepunkt des Urlaubs war Luigiana, die uns nicht nur sehr herzlich bei unserer Ankunft empfing, sondern während unseres ganzen Aufenthalts immer erreichbar war. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert, wenn man eine Frage oder ein Problem hatte. Außerdem hat sie sehr leckeres Olivenöl. Danke für alles!

The Lakehouse is even better than the pictures, it’s a perfect place to relax or as a base to explore the local area. The villa also has kayaks and paddle boards to explore the lake. The hosts David and Chrissie are the most accommodating organised people I have come across on air bnb. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place - 1000 characters are too few to describe everything! The apartments are arranged in a way that no one disturbs each other. All around, there's silence and tranquility. The house is an excellent base for both longer and shorter trips. The pool on hot days allowed us to catch our breath after sightseeing. The kitchen is decently equipped. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and their professionalism is evident. We felt taken care of every day. The complete set of information received before arrival made planning our stay much easier. Plus, we had good ongoing communication. All of Sabina's recommendations were useful for us. If they organize a walk around the area, we definitely recommend participating 😊 Not far from the house is a well-stocked Gala grocery store. In the town of Tavernelle, you can find great ice cream and a pastry shop, and on selected days, you can buy vegetables at the market. After these holidays, Umbria has gained a special place in our hearts.

Diederik en Martine zijn heel aangename hosts! Geen vraag is hun teveel en heel snel krijg je antwoord. Het huisje ligt in een natuurgebied waar het rustig en stil verblijven is. Wie graag 's avonds nog café's of bars wil bezoeken moet de wagen nemen want in de onmiddellijke omgeving is weinig te beleven. Wél kan je wat hoger de berg oprijden en iets lekker eten bij La Baita di Montarale. De Italiaanse uitbaters zijn heel vriendelijk. Aanrader! In de woning is alle comfort aanwezig: gasvuur,vaatwasser,koelkast met vriesvak, douche,bad,beddengoed,zelfs zeep en shampoo! Buiten kan je gebruik maken van de BBQ, de gezellige zitplaats én niet te vergeten het zwembad. Wekelijks komt iemand langs voor onderhoud. Natuurgebied dus ook heel wat dieren en kriebelbeestjes (insecten). Dagelijks hebben we schorpioentjes gespot (die ook wel al eens binnenshuis opdoken) wat eerst wat schrikken was maar uiteindelijk wel went...ze zijn onschuldig en nuttig. Wij hebben in elk geval genoten van onze vakantie in Casa Lavanda!!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casina è molto carina e ben tenuta, con tutto il necessario sia per un soggiorno breve che per soggiorni più lunghi. La posizione è estremamente tranquilla, lontana da rumori e traffico. È comunque semplice raggiungere in auto tutti i servizi di cui si può necessitare. Molto consigliato per chi amo gli animali e per chi ne possiede, i nostri cani sarebbero rimasti molto volentieri lì.

We stayed at the wonderful Fontanaro villa in the village of Paciano, and it was truly a soul-refreshing experience. Lucia is an incredibly caring host, and Pam, who looked after our stay, was a real treasure. She not only provided excellent recommendations on places to visit but also took care of reservations, ensuring we had nothing to worry about. This was not just an ordinary stay; it was a unique experience. We had the opportunity to participate in an olive oil tasting and a cooking class—both activities left an indelible impression. The villa we stayed in was not only stunningly beautiful but also boasted an impressive wine cellar with an extraordinary collection. Overall, our stay at Fontanaro villa exceeded all expectations. It was more than just accommodation—it was an experience we will never forget.

Wir hatten eine wunderbar entspannte Woche an diesem schönen Fleckchen Erde. Große Freiheit, dank Zaun, für unseren Hund, Sonne, Pool und alles was man braucht für uns! Posto eccezionale, fantastico!! raramente si rovano posto così, assolutamente consigliato, tutto nuvo, tutto perfetto, l'host è gentilissimo risponde dopo secondi nemmeno minuti, il minimo problema viene risolto immediatamente, il posto è un sogno, la casa nuova, mobili di qualità, bagno di design, aria condizionata, cucina perfetta, vista mozzafiato, lago privato a 2 metri da casa (lago PRIVATO, avete capito bene!!) tranquillità assoluta, ma siete vicini a Assisi Gubbio Perugia Montone ed altri posti bellissimi, passeggiate meravigliose, questo posto è un sogno!! Raramente mi è capitato di prenotare un posto così bello in una casa così bella e nuova (!!!) in dintorni così belli. Posso garantirvi che quando arriverete non crederete ai vostri occhi. Rimarrete senza parole.
