Beachfront holiday rental in Palermo

The place was really great! Only in the small bedroom it was just too stuffy because there was no air conditioning there, and opening the window would have been too loud at night. But otherwise a very nice, spacious place, equipped with everything you need. The 2 terraces were also great! As for the resort itself (Aspra), it must be said that it is unfortunately difficult to get around without a car (but there is a free shuttle a few times a day) and there is little to do there. The beach is very close to the property. It's not particularly nice, but it serves its purpose. I would recommend many day trips, otherwise it is a good place for a detox! :)

I wish I could give 10 ⭐️! Lory was exceptional! She picked us up at the bus stop in Palermo and brought us to the house. She lives in another unit so she was always available for questions and just to say hello. The home was perfect for us and our little dog. Lory gave us recommendations for shopping and restaurants. I wanted to buy special Sicilian pasta to bring home and Lory actually went out and bought it for me. She obviously takes pride in her work and home. We would stay there again when we come to Mondello. I highly recommend this home and location. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We (couple and 1 child) had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Balestrate, Sicily! The property is really cool – the house is spacious and the large garden was a real highlight; it’s the perfect place to relax, with plenty of seating areas and gorgeous landscaping. The pool was fantastic – clean and just the right size for a refreshing dip on hot days. Nino was very welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They made us feel at home, providing great local tips and always being available for any questions. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat and a wonderful host, this is the place to be

Comfortable, amenities simple, books to read and wondeful terrace patio. Great shower! Stayed for December and weather was beautiful. Walking to piazza and churches and movie theater! Taking the 806 bus easy ride into Palermo center, and from there walking the city. Convenient to train to airport and Cefalu. 🤗

We enjoyed Maria Grazia's place very much. We were nicely welcomed on the day of arrival and were shown to all of us. The location is fantastic with a large terrace with sea views. A staircase leads down to the private entrance to the beach. The apartment has everything you need for a vacation - we also used the kitchen more often... We would definitely return!

Very nice flat, conveniently located, near the beach. Benedetto was very welcoming and helpful to answer a few questions about the area. The flat is lovely and the patio outside a very pretty little corner. I highly recommend.

We (family with 2 children 1.5 and 3.5) felt right at home. Zaira has really thought of everything. From the stroller, cot and drinking water in the fridge, everything is available. When we had a power outage, she responded within 1 minute and showed us the solution and we had light again immediately. The house, garden and pool were very clean and we could even bathe in the heated water. The kids had extremely fun and didn't want to leave. To explore the area you need a car and you can be in Palermo in about 30 minutes and at the airport in 10 minutes. Grazie di tutto Zaira e arrivederci!

We had a great time at Antonio's villa. Everything was perfect and as described. The view from the villa is beautiful! Antonio was very kind and accommodating and offered us a solution when the hot tub was broken. Daniele, who manages the property, is also very kind and responsive. He was the one who picked us up and dropped us back at the airport. The car hire offered is a real plus to discover this beautiful area. We highly recommend this place and would be very happy to stay again.

We had an amazing time at the villa. Everything was as described and the hosts were absolutely lovely. Very quick response and flexible approach to checkout which ensured we had the best time ever there. Will definitely be returning!!

Francesco and his wife were adorable, very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is located in a perfect location on the beautiful Mondello beach. Everything is accessible on foot or by bus, with Palermo 15 minutes away. Francesco and his wife gave us a guided tour of the city. We warmly recommend this listing!

Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

Was very nice to stay.

We spent 5 pleasant days at Fabrizio and Lavinia's Villa. Communications were always accurate and timely. The property is reminiscent of a small Hollywood villa transplanted to Sicily. Designed and tastefully furnished, the villa and especially its swimming pool allow you to enjoy a relaxing stay in privacy. The two hosts live in the basement and are often away during the day for work. The villa coexists physiologically with the small fauna of the Sicilian countryside, for example with the cute geckos that come in the evening to snoop around. Recommended for those who want to relax in a large, clean, quiet environment, surrounded by nature that can even be sumptuous in some of its details.

We had the most wonderful stay at Valeria’s home. It is located at a beautiful location and the house itself was marvellous! Valeria welcomed us very hospitable and showed us around. She also told us the best placed to have dinner and visit. We actually felt like we were part of a Sicilian family. I would recommend everyone to stay there. Will probably return myself one day

We had a wonderful stay in the holiday apartment. Apart from a pair of scissors 😅, the apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect for us. With a car, we were able to explore many places in the surrounding area. And as for the host… well, it’s rare to find someone so friendly and accommodating. Very well located, terrace with sea view, 3-minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. Spacious, bright apartment and very pleasant outdoor spaces. Very nice welcome from Cesare.

Villa Nàmali was a wonderful and clean place to spend the week. We just wish we had longer than a week! You can eat dinner with sea views, walk to the beach and a pizza place, and explore the region from this lovely home. The focus of this home is being outdoors with the larger kitchen outside and terrace. We traveled with children and this meant that they were playing outside almost the entire day (when we weren't sight seeing). Despite focusing on outdoors, the beds were very comfortable and the inside was very clean. The inside was so clean in fact, that I didn't even get dusty when fishing a dropped deck of cards out from under a bed. Marco was super accommodating and flexible with our check in, even on Easter Sunday. This seems to be one of the rare Airbnb places that is or was used by the host at one point and not just quickly slapped together for the tourism industry.

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandro’s place. Definitely need a car, but it was a great home base for touring there area. House was very clean and a good size for our family of 5. We loved the garden area! There is not much to do in the immediate area, but a 15-30 min drive can offer all you need. My only critique is the pillows were not comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniella’s place. She was there to welcome us when we arrived, which made us feel right at home. The apartment is very spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you need: there are sun loungers on the balcony, a fully stocked kitchen, and even beach gear available. Daniella was always easy to reach and very helpful whenever we had questions. The location is also perfect—just a short drive from Palermo and close to the stunning Mondello Beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

This is such a gorgeous little harbour. The apartment was perfectly placed for popping down to the beach for a swim. Giovanni the taxi chap was so helpful and took me to his local shop so I could stock up on water and groceries. The fantastic La Strummula restaurant is a hop skip and a jump away. Michelin star food without the normal exorbitant prices. Lovely well appointed flat with an outstanding terrace. What a find.

Giuseppa welcomed us in a very friendly way and was even so helpful to pick us up from the train station in Bagheria, which made the arrival very uncomplicated. She was always available during our stay when we had questions or needed anything. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well equipped and lovingly furnished – just right to relax and enjoy the vacation. The location close to the beach is ideal, and everything you need is easily accessible. The area is nice and quiet in the side street. The windows are simply glazed, so the traffic is somewhat audible – but that was not disturbing for us. Overall, we really enjoyed the week there and definitely recommend the apartment.
