Cotswold Lodge is an absolute gem of a cottage. Nestled in the heart of a beautiful village, it was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped; the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the TV was large and the Wi-Fi was very good! Communication with hosts was brilliant, and Hannah was very responsive and helpful. The cottage is full of local guides to the local area, including when the food trucks appear in the local market. Painswick itself is gorgeous, and there's a surprising amount to do, from the Rococo gardens and the little art gallery to the lovely churchyard and restaurants. There's plenty of walking to do, and a load of routes can be done straight out the door - the walk to Stroud was particularly lovely. Had a fab time - thank you!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the idyllic Old Dairy. The cottage, nestled within a beautifully restored listed building, made a striking first impression as we arrived. Set amidst stunning grounds adjacent to the exquisite Rococo Gardens, the location was truly breath-taking. A thoughtful welcome basket from Victoria brimming with homemade jam, marmalade, sloe gin, and sourdough bread awaited us, adding a personal touch to our arrival. The cottage itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout. We absolutely adored both the cottage and its picturesque setting in Painswick, a charming Cotswold village with a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect escape to unwind, disconnect from technology, and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the countryside.

Beautiful cottage with top quality furnishings, everything plush and pristine. Very comfy beds, spotless bathroom with great water pressure. The entire place was spotless and fresh. The location excellent and close to great pubs and country walks. Vanessa is an excellent host, super friendly, helpful and responsive! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Sara is a great host , with good local knowledge. Her place is a great base to explore Painswick and the surrounding area.
