Holiday rentals with beach access in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles

I booked this location for our 10th anniversary. I couldn’t believe it was available. When booking this location you are right in the hub of Malibu. Nobu is within walking distance, so is carbon beach. There is a balcony top where you can people watch. Also a private little outside area for yourself. They even offer a garage space which was really cool. Responses were quick and easy. I even booked an extra night pretty effortlessly. The Host Stay Awhile, Emily, Dan and Jelena are a great team have more locations and I will be renting from them again when the time aligns.

It was an amazing stay. It was so close to the beach and the Santa Monica pier we couldn’t found a better spot. Looking forward to coming back again soon thank you very much for providing all the instructions and them being easy to follow and mainly thank you so much for allowing dogs. We didn’t wanna leave our fur babies at home. 😊🦮🐕‍🦺🐾 parking passes were a blessing!

This property was our family's favourite in their entire trip to California. The place is exactly what it looks like. It's gorgeous, well-maintained and walking distance from the beach. It has plenty of amenities too. If you plan to cook your own food, you might have to drive a little or door dash your groceries. We really enjoyed our stay!

The stay at Steve's place was pleasant in every aspect. The location of the accommodation is great, the metro is just a few minutes' walk away and you can also easily walk to the Santa Monica Pier. The accommodation had everything we needed and there were also beach towels. The contact with Steve was uncomplicated and very friendly. A definite recommendation all in all!

My daughter and I came in for two nights and we had a great time staying at Brian’s place! We walked to a great restaurant, the Santa Monica pier, rode bikes down to Venice and toward the Venice, canals, and we had a fantastic weekend. Dropping off our belongings before we park the car with key because the place is up on a sloped road, but never an issue. The parking pass was very helpful and I recommend that for anybody that has a car. We enjoy the stay very much and found it cozy and comfortable. There aren’t any suggestions that we have for Brian we felt like it was exactly as described, and he was very helpful.

We had a great vacation. The property is on the beach with wonderful views. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect about this stay. House was better than described or shown. Much larger than I thought it would be. Perfect for our family as we celebrated my son’s graduation from UCLA. Deck is great. Watched dolphins back and forth all day long. Slept to the ocean waves.

Perfect for a family visit to Venice beach and an amazing base to for the greater valley. Toys, beach, and great restaurants. We had a great stay!

We spent 4 fantastic days in Matthew's house. It has a lot of Californian character. The location is great. All three beds are very confortable and super clean. Our questions were always answered very quickly. We can't wait to come back.

Shell House was the perfect stay to end our road trip! Courtney has been an ideal host, no question was too much, she was always quick to respond and so accommodating. The house it’s self was so idilic and the aesthetic fit the location. It was close to the beach and Abbott Kinney BL for shops, coffee and restaurants. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone considering a visit to LA to book Shell House.

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Colin's place. So clean and well furnished . Everything needed for our stay was there including all ammenities even more than necessary. We will come back for our next stay in Los Angeles without a doubt. Host is extremely helpful, location is great, the layout of the house and garden is fantastic. Iit could not be better.

Wonderful place in peaceful neighborhood of Mar Vista! Super convenient to get around the West side! Loved the style of the house - so clean, spacious and comfortable! Loved the backyard patio for eating outside! Host is super helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly warm and friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were generous with their time and local knowledge, which was especially meaningful to me as I’m preparing to move to the area. The space itself was the perfect peaceful accommodation, comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully set up. I left feeling welcomed, grounded, and excited for what’s ahead. Highly recommend!

Sam and Amber are great hosts and their place is perfect for a few days Santa Monica and LA. It’s very close to the beach, pier and the 3rd street boulevard (shopping and restaurants). Both of them replied quickly and were always helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is well equipped. The free parking in a garage is a big plus! We would come back and can absolutely recommend the two and their apartment!

Great place to stay, very clean and spacious comfortable beds. quiet too.there were 3 of us and it was great that we had our own bathrooms. We didn't have a car so used Ubers, there isn't much around walking distance as it's a residential area. there is parking if you have a car. very easy to get to west LA from there. very good value.

We had a great stay! The apartment was lovely and comfortable. It was near to places and people that we wanted to see while there. Cynthia was a very helpful and friendly host!

Great area! Short walk to the beach and a short drive to the pier. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and made dinner time easy. Comfy beds, big bathrooms and a nice quiet outside area. The house has great history and felt cozy. The kitchen area is an add on that can only be accessed through the courtyard area. Be prepared that you will hear the owners/occupants above you when they walk and you often can hear them talking.

First off, Mo and Ness went above and beyond in terms of communication. They helped us get our booking sorted with less than 48 hours until we landed for our vacation after our previous host had to cancel last minute. While I was scrambling (at about 10pm) with Airbnb customer support, I reached out to Mo and explained our situation. He responded within about 10 minutes and graciously held the dates for us while I finished getting things sorted. The home was exactly what we were hoping for and was exactly as listed. The location was great. Little town noise during the day which was to be expected with the location but surprisingly very quiet at night with the local ordinances. The two porches were my favorite part of the property with lots of humming birds coming to visit. Perfect location for beach visits/canal walks and many great food and coffee options all within walking distance. We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. Truly hope to go back. Thank you very much!
