Holiday rentals with a pool in Oxfordshire

We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

The place was lovely. Beautiful location with a fantastic view. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Communication with Hephzi was great throughout and we had a great time. Some notes for people staying. There is a separate building fairly close to the property on the grounds that people are living in (who are friendly and kept themselves to themselves). The house is also very lived in, just if you expect the Airbnb to be a neutral accommodation you'll find nods to the family in all rooms. Also to be clear on the sleeping situation there are 2 double rooms with en suite for couples. One single room. Another double room. A room with a double bed and bunks beds in (en suite) plus a study with a sofa bed in. This isn't completely clear from listing and photos. Pool, hot tub, tennis court and outside space all great!

The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. We stayed with three kids (one baby) and it was just perfect. Our kids LOVED the pool (super warm and Just right for the kids) and the games room. The welcome basket was amazing and super generous- best gift ever!

Lovely place to stay. Easy access to Oxford and London via Didcot Parkway and Marcham itself is lovely. The pub next door is great fun and had really good food. Georgina was a great host- she was quick to respond and gave local recommendations.

Lou and Aulden are great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The setting is picture perfect beautiful, surrounded by fields of sheep and horses, the cottage is very clean and comfortable. The swim in the pool was the cherry on the cake. Highly recommended.

I’d like to thank gardener Rex for answering all my questions throughout my stay. Without you Rex, it could have been tricky to communicate. Anyway, I and my family had a good time at Christopher’s place. It’s a place for both peaceful break or active sporting time. Great garden for a calm walk throughout a day, great pool with a hammam(a steam sauna), a tennis court…my family really enjoyed all the facilities. Also kitchen was really well equipped and a welcome bread and milk were delicious! Location was also great. Famous Cotswold big name spots, restaurants, farm markets are within 20 min by car.
