Practical information: - Bed linen and towels are included during your stay. - Cleaning at check-out included. - Guests dispose of their own rubbish in the bins outside the house, remove the bed linen and tidy up before checking out. - A travel cot with mattress and sheets can be provided if required.

The house is also close to renowned places such as the Norwegian Nature Center (450 m) Vøringsfossen (13 km), Hardangervidda, Kjeåsen (19 km), Trolltunga (82 km). A 5-minute drive away is Eidfjord city center (7.2 km) where you will find grocery stores, souvenir shop, ATM, gas station, bakery and several eateries. Welcome to us.

A slightly steep road and a few turns lead you here to peace and quiet, tucked away in a small rustic apartment in a basement, with plenty of nature nearby. Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.
