Approximately 10 mins from M5 junction 23 a perfect stop to spend a night or more exploring nearby surroundings, or attending a wedding nearby, or to break up a long journey. Quantock Hills are a 10min drive. Bridgwater train station 20 to 30 mins walk. Walking distance to the town centre, supermarkets and public transport. Adults only. Single or couple, no children, No pets , ( Service animals allowed).

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Cosy rural cottage set between Brendon Hills, Exmoor National Park and Quantock Hills (AONB). Property sits alongside the Stogumber Steam Railway, a mile from Stogumber village. Visit medieval Dunster & castle by car or steam train. Recently refurbished with a modern rustic feel and wood burner. Please state number of guests when booking. Max. three adults, or two adults and two small children. Guests may bring one well behaved dog free of charge. Please send host a request before booking.

The Stableblock at Gothelney Farm

In the Somerset countryside, the Stableblock is part of Gothelney Farm - a family run farm, focusing on producing food for people that is mindful of both their health & the health of our ecosystem & climate. The fields around the Stableblock are home to our pasture-fed rare breed pigs & also grow cereals used by local bakers, including at the Field Bakery - situated just next to the Stableblock! We hope that being at the heart of the Farm adds to your experience whilst staying with us.

A beautiful hand built cabin nestled in the woods, idyllic setting next to a stream and surrounded by magnificent trees, the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature. Found at the end of an unmade track, with miles of nothing but woodland walks and wonderful hills to explore on foot or bike. Situated next to a stream with a glass bridge and beautiful little waterfall, with its own plunge pool. The hot shower and compost loo are set in a quirky horse box accessed across a board walk.

A luxury Shepherd's Hut with the unique bonus of a separate spacious heated snug for exclusive use. Both in a private, south facing walled garden, on our working farm. An amazing base for walking, cycling or driving to the beach & Quantock hills. The handcrafted hut has everything you need with handmade kitchen, bathroom, fabulously comfy double bed and a sofa. On the stone flagged terrace is a wood-fired jacuzzi hot tub and al fresco seating for dining with a firepit and grill.

The Roost is a unique 1 bed property nestled within the Quantock Hills (AONB). Its tranquil secluded setting has far reaching and panoramic views over the Brendon Hills and Exmoor. A stones throw away from the Roost are extensive bridal and footpaths onto the Quantock Hills, where you can enjoy a number of activities all surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and picturesque views. The Roost is the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Cassia Cosy Luxury Bespoke Shepherds Hut

Cassia is a bespoke Shepherds Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes perfect for walking and bird watching , a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is five minutes drive away. This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders, migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.
