Stargazer Chalet is Perfect! This incredible home is super clean, well organized, nicely furnished, and beautifully decorated. It has everything you’ll need for a comfy and relaxing get-away. Very spacious and easily accommodated our large family, allowing us tons of room to comfortably gather for dinner every night at the huge family style table or outside on the big furnished patio. The kitchen is fantastic, well stocked, and gave us plenty of room to cook those big meals. There is an awesome gas grill on the patio for steak night. The views are spectacular and there is plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, either in the hot tub or sitting around the firepit. There’s a killer air hockey table and a great dart board in the garage. There’s plenty of parking space available. We easily parked 2 trucks and 2 cars. Basil is a great host. Friendly, responsive, and respectful. Couldn’t ask for better. We absolutely can’t wait to stay in this location again very soon.

We’ve traveled all over the world, but this house tops our list. It far exceeded our expectations: spotless, beautifully appointed, with heavenly beds and an incredible setting. The cozy heated floors, well-designed kitchen with a bonus coffee nook, enchanting primary suite fireplace, and stunning views from every bedroom made our stay unforgettable. We loved the huge deck, hot tub, and light-filled dining area overlooking forest, river, and mountains. Visiting in winter for the kids’ ski school was perfect—coming back to this tranquil wonderland after the bustle of town felt magical. It’s close to great amenities yet surrounded by peaceful BLM land. The kitchen layout was wonderfully functional for multiple cooks, with health-conscious cookware and a second dishwasher in the coffee nook. We explored the land by the river, which was breathtaking. We can’t wait to return in summer to leave the windows open and enjoy the soothing sounds.

Andres' cabin was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! It was exactly as described—if not more—and the most well-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Every little detail was thoughtfully provided, making our vacation effortless and enjoyable. We were primarily here to snowboard at Purgatory, and the location was perfect for that. The home was also very family-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable. We loved reading the story of how this place came to be—it added such a special touch. And of course, meeting the friendly neighbor dog, Hunter, was a highlight! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

Michelle's place was beautiful and comfortable...and so well-suited for our group. Everyone had plenty of places to gather as well as privacy when needed. Backyard was beautiful as well!

From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and right at home! This place is so comfortable and cozy and decorated so cute, not one detail left overlooked. So many thoughtful touches in every room. The backyard is so inviting! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops easily. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great spot. No issues. Ski valet alone worth the price of admission. Very lean closet space if more than 2 guests with no options outside of the bedroom closet. Otherwise awesome.

breakfast was amazing!! the spa was also fantastic, Jacuzzi and sauna we're fantastic after a day of skiing. Wendy was gracious and amazing. I will definitely be going back and will certainly take advantage of all the spa treatments.

We liked the location on the golf course. The hot tub was working and was great. The home was clean and comfortable.

We so enjoyed out stay at the Villa. Both Wendy and Nancy were delightful to work with. We had the morning with Nancy who told the greatest stories/information about her life and family in the town and the role her husband played in keeping the town entertained and on a good pathway for the local children and prosperity - while maintaining the historic mining town vibe and character. Overall fun stay and so glad we were able to get a booking for this property.

It was great! Nancy was awesome and it was a wonderful night in a great city.

This is an incredibly unique and vintage old town inn that felt like staying in a (clean and uncluttered) antique shop. It’s on the road of the silverton old town center block so walking down there in the morning with my dog was beautiful, quiet and just so special to experience. Everyone needs to stay here at least once to experience the beautiful historic town that is silverton

I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Silverton over the years and this is my new favorite. Wendy and Nancy go out of their way to make you feel at home. The setting is adorable and the fenced outdoor space was great for my dog.

Charming place, right next to the main street, but quiet and private. Shared kitchen and fridge are nice, the sauna was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, not a lot of natural light (only a skylight), but that helps keep it cool during the day. Close to all the hikes and activities, you can walk right across the river and into the forest. The hosts were great. Clear instructions beforehand and at arrival, friendly and welcoming during my stay, but also gave me plenty of privacy. Thanks!

Beautiful stay, exactly as advertised. Far enough out of town that you could get some peace and quiet, but not to far to where you could gather the essentials and do some exploring. Ouray and Black Canyon are appx 1hr away and we had a blast checking them both out over the weekend. Beautiful country and the perfect place to see it.

The only negative i have is the hot tub guy came while we were there and drained and refilled the tub which was a little akward and we weren't prepared for anyone coming to the site. Other than that it was a great location, great view, everything was very clean. Would highly recommend for a stay. Montrose was a very cool town with lots of shops and eateries. The store at the base of the black canyon was a must see also. Loved the area and plan to go back.

As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. Dave's house is a cozy cabin nestled among the trees with great views, comfort, and serenity. The beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets & pillows, bathrooms are clean, well stocked with towels. We made several meals in the kitchen. There are plenty of utensils, dishes, pots/pans, etc. Drip and keurig coffee machines (with pods provided). Plenty of seasonings, some tea, honey, syrup etc were available. Dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent are also provided. Lots of games & movies to enjoy. A grill & gas fire table with propane are nice touches. We enjoyed the hot tub in the early mornings & in the evenings( hot tub towels provided).The canoe and paddle boat were added bonuses.We hiked Engineer mountain,drove million dollar highway to Ouray where we went horse back riding and shopped. Also easy drive to Durango. Grab pizza at the Schoolhouse. You cannot go wrong with Dave's place. Highly recommend. We would definitely book again

My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! Really lovely secluded cabin that is really well appointed. 3 very comfortable bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living area and a well kitted out kitchen. Fantastic deck and hottub looking out over woodlands. Really comfortable, welcoming and elegant. Highly recommended.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den. It is everything we usually look for in a place to stay. Beautiful location. CLEAN. Well maintained. And allowed our pups to stay with us. It was a little small for the 6 of us....but overall worked out well. The back deck was my favorite and we enjoyed eating and relaxing on the deck. The nearby lake was really fun to take a rental boat and explore. We also visited Mesa Verde and took the grandchildren on the Durango Silverton train. We would highly recommend Bear's Den. If you want a cozy comfortable cabin to stay in, this is the place. Beds were extremely comfortable. The scenery is GORGEOUS! The closer we got to being there, the more excited we were! Simply beautiful and peaceful. Fantastic star gazing at night. Just wow.

The place has Awsome mountain feel, the games, whirlpool, and everything comfortable, they put a lot of work into making sure guest has everything, the kids 5 and 10 were over the top excited, my parents relaxed on decks sunrise and sunset. I come to Grand Junction every other month, my kids will kill me if we don’t rebook. Only negative is when up at 4 am remember the bear is stuffed.👍

My husband and I spent a weekend at Al’s place with our dog. This place is so stunning! It is very remote, so be sure to bring groceries and any supplies you need with you. It rained and snowed a bit while we were there so the hot tub was a perfect addition! We went running to a few of the nearby lakes, gorgeous and easy to navigate our way around. Dog friendly and very peaceful. We hope to come visit again in the future!
