Our guest house was newly built in 2018 in traditional style with oak beams, Frisian yellow stone wall and concrete floor with floor heating. This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

You overlook the Herenwal, the street of Heerenveen with the most beautiful canal houses that leads to the city center. At the end of this canal is the basin, which you can recognize by the large pancake ship that is atmospherically lit in the evening. Here you will also find the post house theater and the cozy street full of restaurants!
