As we entered the house we could see that the place was equipped with more than everything we needed plus a little note from our sweet and accommodating host. Also it was very clean and tidy. The Lovely vintage furnishings and color pallet combined takes you a step back in time and gives a cozy relaxed vibe. The bathtub was very nice and spacious. The garden is beautiful, unique and dynamic with lots of cool little spaces to discover and chill. The pictures don't do the place justice, you'll get plenty more than what you pay for. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

It felt right at home. Everything in the house was so cozy and I thought these interesting Mongolian decorations/objects were great. The courtyard is pleasantly quiet and beautifully designed. Every evening, we sat by the open garden fireplace, which is beautifully covered, until late at night. For children, there were many toys, so they were never bored. The animals were very interesting for the children. There were 9 people, 3 children 6-9 years and 6 adults. Loved that there was no TV. The surroundings were also great, we were out and about a lot by bike, a Jumbo was nearby and the Dinopark is highly recommended via the Social Deal app, admission even €9.50 + food and you can comfortably walk there. The yurt was also a real highlight. Super cozy, one evening we even had the oven on, a really nice feeling and you feel close to nature. Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Joke's. The cottage is very nice, high-quality and cozy. Everything you need is there and the kitchen is also very well equipped. There was a small barbecue on the terrace that we could use. The garden is beautifully landscaped with many seating areas. Here you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility. The breakfast was very lovingly arranged, delicious and varied! Thank you for that! There are smaller towns and cities in the area. Groningen is only about 30 minutes away by car. We particularly liked the proximity to the Drentsche Aa National Park (about 20 minutes by car). There you can take short and long hikes in a beautiful landscape. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back :)

Beautiful house! Perfect for groups who like to be on their own and are looking for a little break. Well equipped, we felt more than comfortable.
