Wanted a get away for my wife. It was quiet, and the house was warm. Did not explored much as it was in the winter. Both Gerd and Gert are friendly and polite, and would do anything that was needed for a comfy stay

We had a very nice week in Simmertal. The area is beautiful for hiking, the "gemstone town" Idar-Oberstein is easy to reach and also city trips to e.g. Trier are easy to find. The apartment is nice, the hostess very friendly and we didn't miss anything. A clear recommendation!

Maria is a friendly and communicative host who lives the notion of hospitality and takes care of the well-being of her guest. I felt reminded of the beginnings of Airbnb when it was actually about not only staying anonymous, but when the guest and host still met, exchanged, or even ate and/or drank together.  And of course, as a guest, you can also have your peace and quiet if you prefer.  The location is very good. The city center in about five minutes and the rehab clinic in about 25 minutes walking distance. Many thanks Maria and I wish you all the best!
