Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Pure nature! You live in an old train station directly on hiking and biking trails. Absolute tranquility (almost) without neighbors. Slow-moving freight trains pass by on the rails 3 times a day. On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

Only 8 minutes (by car) to Montabaur, 30 minutes to Limburg or Koblenz. You can also start in nature immediately from here, whether hiking, cycling or motorcycling. As riders and motorcyclists, we are happy to give you tips. Bicycles and motorcycles can be parked weatherproof. 4 guests maximum

High standards of design and materials as well as a kind of breathtaking view from the panoramic living area leave nothing to be desired. The apartment is bright, sunny, barrier-free and modernly furnished. Built in 2021. The town of Vielbach is 5 minutes from the A3. ICE train station and outlet in Montabaur can be reached in 15 minutes. Cologne and Frankfurt airports can be reached in 45 minutes. Various tourist attractions are available nearby. Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.
