We really liked this house and the location. The house was open and roomy making it the perfect place to hunker down and wait out the wind and rain from Ex Tropical Cyclone Tam. Nessie even let us delay our checkout time to wait out the rain.

It was great. It was the perfect place, even when the weather turned out to be rainy, it still provided a great outdoor area away from the elements!

Absolutely wonderful place for a relaxing holiday, Anna was lovely and made everything super easy. Beautiful beach, peaceful surroundings, friendly vibe, everything you need. We hope to be back, already regret not staying longer!

Large, spacious home. Was really conveniently located too. Glen was also responsive to any queries. We'd totally come back here next time.

Great spot on the coromandel with everything you need for a family getaway. We particularly loved how easy it was to bring our boat and fishing gear, along with our little dog. A classic kiwi bach!

We love staying here! It’s our second time and we’ll be back again as soon as we can. Terry is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. The property is in a very central location and is walking distance to main street. There is also safe off road parking. The house is stunning and I love the pieces of art work displayed around the place. We all appreciated the games cupboard and our parents loved the book selection. The new air fryer is a wonderful addition too!

Beautiful space with great access to beach, local shops. Friendly, generous host. We would definitely come back here again--and would recommend to friends without hesitation.

My husband, my friend and I very much enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It was as described, situated conveniently near both the beach and town. Especially appreciated was a second bathroom. John responded promptly to a query or two and offered helpful suggestions. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay there again.

Muriel gives excellent instructions how to find Bush Apartment - READ THEM! We were warmly welcomed by Muriel who delighted in showing us around her home, designed by Evan, and made to feel at home. The apartment is spacious, well furnished & equipped and oh so peaceful. Sitting on the balcony, surrounded by native bush, listening to the little stream below and the birds above - magical. At night a clear sky, the call of Morepork and, if you're lucky, Kiwi. Of all the properties we stayed in, Bush Apartment must have had the biggest fridge/freezer! Kuoatunu, a few minutes drive away, is a lovely little coastal town with good cafes. Within driving distance are wide, sandy beaches - some only accessible on foot - and the thriving town of Whitianga.

The apartment was well appointed. Double bed was super comfy. Loved swimming in the heated pool and a soak in the hot tub before dinner. Also just a short walk to a gorgeous beach. Had everything we needed for a working holiday. We would definately stay there again.

We booked the lower apartment for 10 days If there are guests above in the other apartment of the house, it gets noisy. But the hosts point out! The listing is accurate and ok!

We had a wonderful stay, although the weather wasn't the greatest, we made the best of it. Nice quiet place and close to the beach. Very comfortable and spacious, The Tui's in the trees was entertaining. Thank you, we recommend this special place.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
