Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

The accommodation is only 3 hour's drive from Auckland and is located high above the water overlooking the Mercury Islands and the Pacific. The views are extensive, and the house relaxed and comfortable and can cater for a range of guests, from couples through to groups of 5. The house and sleep out resemble the cottages that were part of the Coromandel's gold mining heritage, with interiors that are warm and lively. You have everything you need for your stay here at this lovely hideout.
