In my house you should feel comfortable. During the renovation in 2022, I followed the modern country house style. Wooden floorboards on both levels, fireplace in the large living/dining area, and a natural stone countertop in the kitchen create a special, natural atmosphere. Large windows guarantee light-filled rooms at any time of the day. The play room impresses the children with numerous toys including a swing. The bathroom has a modern walk-in shower.

The cottage is located in the small idyllic village of Wasserkoog near the North Sea. The spacious garden offers a wide view towards the southwest of the countryside and the sunset in the evening. If you are in the mood for hustle and bustle, St. Peter-Ording, Husum, Tönning or Friedrichstadt with the many sights are not far away. The famous lighthouse in Westerhever is close by. You can enjoy the sun all day long at the terrace and around the house.

The house in solitary location is framed by a large garden under trees and offers you space for sunbathing, barbecuing or sitting comfortably. The sea, the wide sky with beautiful clouds and plays of light in a very intact flora and fauna, attracts you to walks on the sea dike, mudflat hikes and beautiful bike rides.

A cottage at the sea

Our small thatched roofed cat on the Eiderstedt peninsula is only a few hundred yards from the North Sea. It is located on a side road surrounded by fields in the middle of a bird sanctuary. Built on an old medieval dike, our cottage offers a panoramic view of the North Frisian nature. You can reach the sea by foot or by bike in just a few minutes, the famous sandy beach of St. Peter-Ording is 10 minutes away by car.

An oasis of peace invites you to relax. Completely renovated in 2020, the exterior building on the large south-facing terrace offers you a kilometre-long view of the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt. The nearby Treene water offers a variety of recreational opportunities.
