Holiday rentals with lake access in Östergötland County

Magnus House is very nice with views of Roxen Lake and Linköping. We were there with 8 adults and 2 small children and all had enough space and privacy. The balcony is great for eating and relaxing and the swimming area nearby is wonderful for swimming. The location is very quiet. The area is wonderful for cycling and there are many beautiful cafes. Magnus is always available and very helpful.

Our holiday in the rather cool, windy pre-season May-mid June was a nice experience thanks to the house. There was also a good place to read, enjoy the view, watch animals. Schären property. Good starting point to explore the area. Travel to hikes, kayak or bike tours usually only by car, about 15 minutes to supermarkets, petrol station. Friendly, attentive care by h Kerstin. Would love to come back!

We felt very comfortable and there was nothing missing. Great location and great view of the lake …for dogs great entrance to the water. The only neighbours you haven't noticed...

We had a wonderful stay in the little paradise of Heike & Andreas. The house is super furnished with everything you need, including a great garden. It is totally quiet, surrounded by nature. Heike and Andreas are very friendly and helpful. We immediately felt very much at home. I can only recommend it to everyone, I hope we weren't there for the last time😊

The Airbnb was sparkling clean and well equipped. The property is very beautiful. We felt warmly welcome - fresh flowers were on the table. :) The communication was very friendly and responsive. The bed was comfy (medium soft). The tap water had a slight sulphuric smell, but it didn't bother us. The region allows a lot of wonderful hikes. We can fully recommend this AirBnB.

Great accommodation, perfect if you are many as there are three houses in total that can be rented. It's great that there is the possibility of swimming in the jacuzzi and that it is also only a short walk from the lake with swimming opportunities. Large terrace that is perfect for dinners with larger groups. We were here for my sister's mother-in-law and we are all incredibly happy with our choice of accommodation. Quick and easy check-in, which was also appreciated!

Good place to stay and friendly host. My kids (7 year old boy and 15 month old girl) love the apartment.

We had some lovely days in Vadstena! The apartment was like stepping into a nice hotel room, in a perfect location! Very close to Lake Vättern and yet central. We can highly recommend this property! Regards, Maud & Henrik

Helen and her husband welcomed us even though we arrived late. Did not have time to enjoy, quickly to bed and off to Motala for the Vättern round. A nicely decorated accommodation with all the comforts. Great!

A wonderful apartment, a feeling of luxury. Beautifully designed house and a magical, so well laid out garden - beautiful! Nice swimming area just meters away. Well and tastefully, thoughtfully decorated - everything we could need was there.

We had a great time at Pärs place. It is really quiet in a wonderful landscape and the view over the sea is amazing! Inside we found everything we needed. We had a little chat with Pär, a really nice guy. We highly recommend this place :)

We enjoyed the peace and quiet in this cozy cottage, on the terrace overlooking the lake and in the rowing boat that we were allowed to use.

Really nice house in a good and quiet location. Perfect for a family or a group of friends. The house was very clean, with a lot of equipment, and easy to find. Also Joakim answer very quickly if you have to ask anything.

We have been to Scandinavia many times and have always rented a house. However, Helenes Seestuga has surpassed all previous properties. The location is sensational and unique without exaggeration, you live directly on the lake with your own jetty and your own seating area. The view of Lake Vättern is incredible. The Seestuga itself is lovingly furnished and has everything you need in everyday life. The tranquility and the spacious and well-kept garden immediately create a holiday atmosphere. Helene and her husband are also very lovely hosts, they immediately take care of their guests with questions, without ever imposing themselves. If I had any questions, I received an answer within minutes, and I also received great tips for staying in the area during random meetings in the garden. Both are the perfect hosts and really strive to make the stay in Sweden a great experience.

A fantastic stay even that it was unfortunately short for us. But would love to come back to this quiet and lovely environment. And a host who stands out positively with reception and service beyond what you expect. Highly recommended

Our stay with Kerstin and Åke was wonderful! Kerstin is a very warm woman who bakes very tasty bread and we felt like at home. The yellow house is very cozy, very clean and has a nice well-kept garden. It's very quiet and you have a fantastic view of Lake Sommen. You can make a nice little hike in the area. We highly recommend it and would always come back!
