The old romantic, sun flooded house offers diverse use from individuals to large creative groups or families. Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

We offer you two apartments: Our 32 square meter "lütte Stuv" allows 2 people a quiet stay with a green outdoor area. The apartment is located together with our "grooten Stuv" (for 4 people) in a former farmhouse, which is an oasis of tranquility with its large garden. We rent the beautiful apartment on the ground floor near the Baltic Sea (about 4 km to the beach) in Goosefeld near Eckernförde. Shops can be found in Eckernförde (approx. 2 km). The city centre of Eckernfördes is just 4 km away. In the bedroom, there is a 1.60 x 2m box spring bed and a single bed. In the living room, there is a sofa bed. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with sitting area and Nespresso coffee machine.

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini village". Four families live with us, with a total of five children, as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two and four-legged friends run free on the premises, there are no fences or gates with us.

The house sits at the edge of a holiday home settlement, in the middle of the countryside with fantastic views of the Schlei. In a few minutes, you will be on the water. The house, the large terraces and the garden offer space to play and relax in any weather.

Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours near Schleswig! Located between Schlei and Hüttener Bergen - each only about 5 km away. The Selker Noor with its own swimming area is only 3.4 km away, and the Viking village of Haitabu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also very close, as are Gottorf Castle, Schleswig Cathedral and the harbor. It is also only 20 km to Eckernförde Bay!
