Holiday houses in Oslo

This place is a gem. Everyone reading this should go and spend a few nights by the lake in this beautiful and peaceful cabin. We spent a night here and we were devastated to not be spending more time at this beautiful location. It is serene, beautiful, calm and feels like a dream.

We had a wonderful holiday in Jonas and Renate's cabin. Stunning views and an ideal base for visiting Oslo. Tips for future guests: Planning to visit Oslo? Park your (rental) car at Hauketo station. (no parking fees) From there it's a 10 minute train ride to the city center. Download the Ruter app for public transport. Very easy to pay. Kiwi is the nearest supermarket and just as good as Rema 1000, which is a bit further away. In Oslo, it's fun to do a 3 hour bike tour (Baja) to get to know the city. Also book a sauna session in one of the floating saunas in Oslo's harbor and take a refreshing dip in the sea. (Kok or Badstuforening) If you're coming with an electric car, you can download the Charge365 app. It's best to do this in advance, as you'll need to add a payment method. At the charge point, you can't scan a QR code; instead, you have to manually enter an ID. The ID is displayed on the charge point.

Have I stayed at a better Airbnb? Maybe. Have I met better hosts? No chance—even in my wildest dreams! Nils and his partner Mette (sorry if I misspelled!) are the kindest, most helpful people I’ve met while traveling. The place itself is beautiful. You wake up to a stunning lake view right outside your window—like a dream. The Norwegian-style toilet is close to the cottage, and the full private toilet/bathroom with hot water is just a short walk away. Everything is super clean and has everything you need. But the real magic? The hosts. If you need anything, just ask—they will try their best to help. I can guarantee that! We even got four fresh farm eggs from them. Petter’s place was wonderful. Great location, very clean, easy check-in. Lots of space! We had a fabulous stay :)

Dima is an excellent host with great communication. He made check-in and check-out very easy. The apartment had all the necessities for a stay (plus a washing machine) and was located in a nice and convenient area. Would stay there again.

The apartment was just perfect! Very modern, stylishly decorated in Scandinavian design, and absolutely clean. The central location was ideal for exploring Oslo – many sights, restaurants, and shops were within easy walking distance. I felt at home from the very first moment and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Die Wohnung war genau so wie auf den Bilder beschrieben, gute Lage zu Fuß, leicht erreichbar an die Öffentliche Anbindungen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
