Lovely stay with super good host. I felt like at home in the cabin and enjoyed it very much!

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

Spent New Year here, fantastic views, very comfortable accomodation, well equipped if you chose to self cater, would recommend.

We had a very nice time at Laura's cabin. Very clean and nice, and Laura made the cabin available on a short notice. The hot tub was warm upon arrival and me and my two sisters had a very pleasant day here. Laura responds quickly and is very helpful! Recommended.

The view was very nice master bedroom was amazing everything was looking clean.

I stayed for 3 weeks while working at NMBU. The location is perfect, just 15 min cycle along a country road. I loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and Elias and his family made me feel incredibly welcome. It is a beautiful space with everything you could need.

Marit's place was a perfect getaway for our two families. It is a beautiful and fully equipped cabin with everything you need, even a cozy gallery with boardgames for our kids. We enjoyed the surroundings where you can easily walk to forest tracks or to several spots for bathing. Would definitely recommend for a serene weekend away, while still being a short drive away from Oslo!

Had 3 nights at this cozy cabin. Very well suited for 1 adult with 2 children and dog. We had what we needed for cooking and barbecuing. Cozy patio with morning sun and large lawn. The area is incredibly idyllic and the hosting was friendly and welcoming We would gladly came back!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

My boyfriend and I have been to Norway for the first time and very happy with this accommodation. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful surroundings. Anikken was easily accessible and was quick to respond. Especially very helpful and thoughtful, we got a lot of tips from her. We have felt very much at home here partly because of the hospitality. The cottage was also clean, cozy and equipped with everything you needed :)

A wonderful cabin experience in the pre-Christmas time. Beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity, good facilities in the cabin (hot water, wood-burning stove, fireplace and Cinderella dass). Both kitchen and bathroom are well equipped with everything you need. Surprisingly good beds and duvets! We had an incredible time!

I had a wonderful stay. The house was cosy and had everything you need. Martha has done a great job making the cabin feel homely. I particularly loved the bathtub and the sauna. Martha was a very responsive host and suggested some great hikes that I thoroughly enjoyed. Was sad to leave and would definitely go back. Thank you Martha.

We had a great weekend. Quiet location, great cabin, close to the forest and nice hiking opportunities and very nice with fire pit. Good communication with Kristoffer ahead of time and everything was as described.

We (family of 4) stayed at the cabin for a weekend in November. It’s in the middle of the forest with no phone signal, so it was lovely to have a digital detox! There is a great view over the lake from the dining table and terrace. We cooked hot dogs, burgers and marshmallows on the outside fire pit, went for a walk in the woods and played games :)

This was the perfect place for a family getaway! Just 40 mins to Oslo, We stayed for three nights with two families and three kids, and everything we needed was provided. The indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful and full of fun games and activities for everyone. Svenn and Cecile were outstanding hosts—super friendly and communicative. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful cottage. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment – from the magical view of the water to the atmospheric evenings in front of the fire on the terrace. The cottage is well equipped with everything one might need, and it was easy to both relax and feel at home. It is quiet, private and peaceful, with direct access to the lake from the house and proximity to both nature reserves and the lake in front of the cabin and mountains on the other side of the lake (great views). Just 30 minutes to Oslo makes it easy to get there. Arild and Nina are incredibly helpful and responds quickly to everything – many thanks for a memorable experience! /Imran &Eva
