Family-friendly holiday rentals in Opatija

We liked our vacation very much! Robert’s place is very nice, exactly as described, the view is simply amazing and the apartment is well equipped! Robert and his wife were both very responsive and kind! We recommend his place without any doubts and looking forward to come back ourselves!

Everything was pretty much as expected. Jakob was super easy to communicate with. It was pretty centrally located for all we planned to do on arrival and for day trips. The pictures more than did justice to what we found. It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The castle area in Kastov was very nice, with great food and a nice place to wind down the night. Overall, a wonderful vacation to a place we’d never been.

Tomislav was a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment had everything you need for a great stay. The terrace with furniture, grill and whirlpool was especially wonderful. He speaks English and German fluently.

Great house, nice communication, quick help with any problems. Hot tub was very relaxing and there was everything else you needed was available.

Everything perfect! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the communication to the location and cleanliness - this accommodation is an absolute dream! Child-friendly, equipped with children's dishes/cutlery, an elevated pool with a gate and a private playground in the garden, everything has been thought of here and implemented with great attention to detail. You can tell that it is not just an Airbnb house, but a lot of passion from the owners flows into the care. Even with self-inflicted complications, we were helped immediately and in an extremely friendly manner, which is absolutely not a matter of course. All in all, I can fully recommend this accommodation! A huge thank you to Lucija and her family ♥️

The stay with Valentina and Hrvoje was sensational. First of all, the outstanding amenities should be highlighted. This AirBnB has everything you could ever need. The place was very neat and clean. You also have to praise the hosts personally. Our requests were responded to very quickly and appropriately. Since the hot tub was unfortunately broken by the previous tenants, we reached out to them and immediately received a reasonable refund. Super accommodating and friendly. The location is also very good, but we recommend traveling by car. All in all a wonderful stay in a not too touristy place Croatia.

Great house and an amazing host would stay again

The place is a dream. Aleksandra picked us up and the first contact was very warm, as if we already knew each other. We were also provided with bread, drinks, milk and fruit for the first morning, which is not a given and is therefore very friendly of our hostess. Aleksandra gave us recommendations for restaurants. In addition, she asked us in between whether everything was okay. That's also a very nice gesture. We spent a wonderful week there and would love to come back. Best regards

Thank you Sara for the great apartment we have been staying. Very modern, clean and very good located apartment with the parking. Located very close to the beach. Convenient store is just around the corner. We felt in love with Opatija. Beaches just along the city. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

It was a very nice holiday there, the Frankopan about 4 minutes' walk away, I can only recommend as a restaurant. The location of the apartment is a good starting point for different activities. The lapping of the waves helps you fall asleep.

Natasha called us on the day of arrival, to say that the apartment was already ready. We could therefore enter earlier😀. She waited for us and explained everything well. Natasha is a very sweet woman. If you need something, she'll take care of it right away. The apartment is in the middle of Lovran, close to the sea. Ideal! Our dog could walk freely in the apartment and the roof terrace. Beautiful view! The dog beach was a fifteen-minute walk away. This was completely cut off by a fence and the rocks. Water shoes are recommended. The bakery and supermarket were also within walking distance. The Lungomare, the path that runs all the way to Opatija, is ideal for walking along the coast. You will come across plenty of terraces, beaches (mostly concrete) and villages along the way. It was very nice to stay in Lovran. Thank you Natasha!

Incredible stay in Medveja, Croatia! 🏡🌞 We loved this house – it was perfect for our vacation. Very large, spacious and extremely clean! The house has two floors: on the first floor there is a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen, where there is everything for comfortable cooking. On the second floor, there are comfortable bedrooms. A separate pleasure is the spacious terrace, where we had breakfast and spent evenings every day. Very calm and picturesque place, perfect for relaxation. And what is very pleasant – even for our dog everything was necessary! Safe yard, bowls, a place to rest – he also had a great time. I also want to thank the owner – extremely friendly, attentive and kind. She was always in touch, helped with all the issues and did everything to make us feel at home. We highly recommend this place to rest!

This is our third time staying in Barbara's flat. it's our go-to spot in Opatija. It's central, quiet, and perfectly located between restaurants and beaches. If Barbara's flat isn't available, we don't come to Opatija.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks with our family in this house. Had super nice weather and everything you can think of was present in the house of Natalija and her family. Close to Labin, I think one of the best located places in Istria! We enjoyed the beach in Rabac, good restaurants nearby and from here very exploring Istria, Rovinj, Pula etc. Also seen the plitvice lakes and that is 5 hours up and down but worth it. Had a very nice time! Thank you!

We (a family of five) felt very comfortable in Damir's pool house. The view and the pool are an absolute highlight. Our 3 children were not so much interested in excursions, so we spent a lot of time in the pool - which is absolutely not difficult in this location. :) The path to the beach is easily walkable and a sandy beach is also accessible. However, the return journey in the heat is a bit exhausting for the kids. The house itself offers everything you need - and if something is missing, Damir is always available. All in all, we liked it very much and we would recommend it at any time!

We had a wonderful time with Elena on Krk. The cottage is not very large, but well equipped and completely sufficient for 2 people. The subtropical garden, however, is a real dream. Palm trees, olive trees and wonderfully blooming flowers surround a large saltwater pool. Everything is very well maintained and clean, an oasis of tranquility. Elena is a very friendly, always helpful host who does everything to make guests feel comfortable. We hope to come back soon.

Ines was an excellent host. Everything has completely satisfied us. The house is beautiful, with a great pool and quiet location. Perfect for switching off. Ines is always available and very helpful.

We had a very nice holiday at Tanja's. The place was beautiful. Our personal highlight was the pool.

Very clean and spacious accommodation. There were four of us with a dog in unfortunately not so nice weather (regular weather). That's why we were able to stay in the house very nicely, and everyone had their space. We felt very comfortable, and Nina was a very helpful host. However, the surroundings did not promise us so much, it was (probably also due to the season) everything as extinct (despite Easter week). A small kiosk and a small bistro were the only thing within walking distance. All in all it was a very relaxing short trip. Thank you Nina.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s place. The accommodation is beautiful, very clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you might need. The use of the pool is a great added bonus that made our stay even more enjoyable. Sandra was incredibly kind and welcoming—always available and ready to help with great suggestions and local tips. The area around the house is very peaceful and quiet. It might feel a bit far from towns or cities with more nightlife or evening activities, but that could also be due to the time of year we visited (June). In any case, both the host and the accommodation were excellent. Thank you, Sandra! Hopefully we’ll have the chance to come back!

We had a wonderful holiday in this holiday home! The house was very clean and well maintained, the garden beautifully landscaped and the pool was always clean – perfect for relaxing. The furniture is comfortable and invites you to feel good. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need for cooking – nothing was missing. The quiet environment was particularly pleasant - ideal for switching off. A big thank you to Helena, who was always available, friendly and helpful. You felt welcome from the beginning. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this holiday home!
